Paid Land Fitness ClassesFIGHT CLUB Increase your speed, agility, and strength and prepare to sweat in this boot camp style interval training boxing class. Hand wraps not required, but highly recommended.

GRIT Les Mills GRIT Series includes three 30 minute high intensity interval training that will increase your aerobic capacity and accelerate fat burning while building strength, muscular endurance and power. With every workout, you'll work more muscle tissue and keep calories burning for hours longer than with traditional training.

TRX is the suspension training system that utilizes full core strength to engage every muscle of the body. Our TRX classes vary to suit different levels and different needs. Use your core and TRX to elevate you to new fitness goals. Each class is 45 minutes. Times and days must be selected at time of registration. Due to small class, NO refunds will be given for TRX.

YEFFECT The YEffect helps deliver the benefits of personal training at a reduced cost. Working with several trainers, participants will experience different styles and techniques of fitness that are designed around them. Each 30 minute session will challenge the mind and body as you progress further toward your goals. Anybody can take advantage of this program for as low as $10 per session. Don't wait another second. Active Older Adult Classes (free with membership)

Cardio Fit + Yoga Stretch: This class will start with a low impact cardiovascular workout lasting about 20 minutes. For the remaining time, the class will focus on balance and stretching. Chair support will be available.

Forever Fit: A low impact class including cardiovascular and resistance training. A great class for seniors as well as those new to exercise.

Silver Sneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Movement: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Cardio ClassesBoxing: Using punching mitts you will perform punching drills to tone strengthen your upper body.

BODYCOMBAT™: This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

SH'BAM™: is the perfect way to shape up and let out your inner star - even if you're dance challenged. Set to a soundtrack of great jams, SH'BAM™ is the ultimate fun and sociable way to exercise. Each 45-minute SH'BAM™ class is vibrant, unique and varied so all you have to worry about is cutting loose and dancing off the calories. All ages welcomed!

Y Cycle: A revolutionary stationary bike class which is set to music and simulates a real bike ride. This is a non-competitive, cardiovascular workout designed for all fitness levels.

Zumba®: A fusion of Latin inspired music and dance will find you dancing day, night, and calories away.

Zumba Toning®: When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba®Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). Learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all the target zones, including arms, abs and thighs.

Cardio/StrengthYMCA Boot Camp: This program won't just help you strengthen, tone, and increase your cardio fitness - it'll make you feel fabulous in your skin. Be prepared to sweat and have fun!! Registration required.

Combat Camp: Increase your speed, agility, and strength and prepare to sweat in this boot camp style BODYCOMBAT™. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors strike, punch and kick your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

Mind BodyPilates: Pilates is a fitness routine that will increase strength and flexibility. You can expect improved posture, balance, and core strength.

PiYo Strength® is an up tempo, non-spiritual approach to mind/body exercise. This unique format combines Pilates, Yoga, Strength Training, Core Conditioning, Flexibility, and Dynamic Balance.

Buff Yoga: Get buff in this class that fuses strength training and yoga with the help of weights and bands. Yoga BUFF is designed to tone and sculpt major muscle groups while pushing your strength and flexibility to new heights.

Yoga: Join us for flowing, controlled yoga moves; stringing poses together with deep breathing to experience a sense of well being and reawakening of the mind and body.

StrengthAll About the Ball: This is a strength training class that focuses on the CORE. You use the stability ball throughout the class.

BODYPUMP™: This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast!

CXWORX™: Based on cutting-edge scientific research, this 30 minute workout will tone your stomach and tighten your butt, improving strength and assisting injury prevention. With awesome music, it'll help you run faster, play harder and stand stronger!

Other Fitness and TrainingY MAX TRAINING This program includes nutritional monitoring and instruction, precise workout programs throughout the week that are tailored to your goals and weekly progress. Y Max Training is meant for those who have found themselves inconsistent with exercise in the past and need help forming a habit. It is geared toward weight loss, although many have chosen to do the program with other goals in mind. The focus is on lifestyle change, making small achievable nutrition and fitness goals that build into a mountain of amazing results.

Body Composition Body weight alone is not a clear indicator of good health, becuase it does not distinguish how many pounds are from fat and how many are from lean body mass. Want to find out what your ideal weight should be? Contact Laura Morgan, Fitness Director, at 630.929.2464 to set up an appointment for a body composition test using the popular skin-fold measurement method performed by a certified personal trainer.

Fitness Assessment Each assessment includes a health screening that consists of blood pressure and resting heart rate measurements. This screening is followed by testing for body composition, circumference, cardio-respiratory endurance, flexibility, muscualr strength and endurance. Water FitnessAqua Kickboxing Aqua Kickboxing: Challenge yourself to a high level cardiovascular, strength training and muscle endurance class. Not recommended for those with joint problems.

Aqua Zumba The Aqua Zumba program is the "pool party" workout for all ages. A workout that integrates the Zumba formula and philosophy onto traditional aqua fitness disciplines.

Aquafit Aqua Fitness: Our most popular class is Aqua Fitness. This class combines stretching and toning with a moderate cardiovascular workout and some strength training. Good for all ages and fitness levels.

Aqua HIIT- High Intensity Interval Training - Are you looking to add variety to your workout, hit a plateau or want to burn more calories? Then this intensity interval water workout is for you. This high intensity interval workout utilizes intervals of hard work and rest for a total body workout. Not recommended for beginners

Deep H2O Training Deep H20 Training: We use floatation devices to aid in a low-impact, total body workout that includes aerobics and muscle strengthening. Must be able to swim 25 yards.

H2O Sculpt H20 Sculpt is a high-level cardiovascular, strength training and muscle endurance class. Not recommended for those with joint problems.

Adult Intermediate Swim Lessons You've always wanted to learn how to swim. Now is the time to learn. This level focuses on the beginner swimmer. During this class, swimmers will be taught how to propel themselves in the water with little to no assistance on their front, back, and side.

Smooth Moves Active Older Smooth Moves for Active Older Adults Utilizes exercises from our Aqua Fitness class as well as range of motion movements from our Twinges class and offers a moderate cardiovascular workout.

100 Mile Club Challenge yourself to swimming 100 miles or more in a year. This program is free for members and great for conditioning. For more details call the Aquatic Department.

Twinges In The Hinges Plus Twinges in the Hinges: Arthritis Foundation/Y Aquatic Program (AFYAP): This class focuses on working out joint movement, muscle strengthening and flexibility with range of motion exercises.
