Personal TrainingPersonal Training: How do you know what exercises to do, what machines to use, how much weight to lift, how many repetitions to perform, how often to weight train and what is the proper form to prevent injury and provide optimal results? The answer: PERSONAL TRAINING. Our trainers not only will customize a workout for you, but also will educate and motivate you. Multi-session packages are available. Health & WellnessCouch To 5K Interested in running a 5K but don’t know where or how to start? Just want to get into shape and improve your fitness? Join us for this 5 week training program designed to get you to a point where you can run a comfortable, relaxed 3 miles. This walk run program is suitable for all fitness levels and allows you to progress at your own pace. Ages 12+

HIIT-Tabata The Tabata protocol is a high-intensity training regimen that produces remarkable results. A Tabata workout is an interval training cycle of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest,repeated without pause 8 times. It's a simple training routine that's been proven to improve performance and fitness in a very short time. We will meet for 5 consecutive weeks and track our progress and performance improvement. Morning Walk Get a jump on your recommended daily 10,000 steps and join us for an early morning walk on Thursdays. Meet at the Greater La Grange YMCA and head out with your friends to start your day. Free for members, sign up is requested.

Outdoor Boot Camp This high-intensity, half hour class will get you into or keep you in great shape. Classes will be held at Memorial Park and the format will change weekly. Ages 16+. Prices are per class. **Punch cards available for a discounted price. Call 708-352-7600.

Morning Fun Run Join us Sunday mornings for a fun run. We will meet at different local trails for a casual run of varying distances and paces. Everyone welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Free for members, registration requested.

Private & Semi-Private Swim LessonsIt is the YMCA's philosophy that everyone learns better in a group. Sometimes, however, individual attention can benefit the beginner. One Private Swim Lesson One private lesson is 30 minutes in length

Private Lesson 5 Pack Get a discount. You get 5 private swim lessons for the price of 4. One private lesson is 30 minutes in length.

Semi-Private One For those families that have siblings that would both like a private lesson, we can now offer you one semi-private lesson for 45 minutes. The fee indicated is a per person fee. Semi-Private lessons are 45 minutes in length versus a private lesson which is 30 minutes in length.

Semi-Private 5 Pack For those families that have siblings that would both like a private lesson, we can now offer you one semi-private lesson for 45 minutes. The fee indicated is a per person fee. Family EventsFamily Swim One Time YMCA Family Members are FREE for Family Swim. Non-Member families can come for $8.00 per family per visit. Each family member must register for this family swim regardless of age for safety purposes. Please call the front desk to register 708-352-7600. Some Saturdays and Sundays are not available. Parents are responsible adult age 16+ must accompany all children under age 9 in the pool.

Family Fun At the Forest Preserve* Come out and have some good old fashioned family fun. Red Rover, Spud, Kick the Can, you name it we can play it. Bring the family, bring the neighbors, get your team together! Free to the Community.

Outdoor Movie In the Park* A wonderful family event at the Amphitheater in Memorial Park. Bring your blankets and enjoy a family movie under the stars. Movie to be determined. Watch our Facebook page to place your vote. All ages, free community event.
