St. John’s Church is…..
Rooted in the doctrines of the Protestant Reformation. We believe we are saved by grace through faith in
Jesus, that the Bible is the rule for Christian life and faith, and that the Good News of Jesus should be
proclaimed in word and deed. Sacrament Celebrating. We believe God ministers to the community of believers in unique and special ways
through Baptism and Holy Communion. Liturgically Oriented. We believe remembering the whole life of Christ is important for spiritual maturity. We
follow the church calendar, celebrating seasons like Advent and Lent. Ecumenically Minded. In the context of our heritage, we believe all those who call upon Jesus as Lord will
share in his eternal blessings and so we welcome all believers who join us to participate fully in worship.
Thanks for visiting with us today! Feel free to call one of the pastors, Rev. John, Rev. Steve, or Rev. Stephen

CHURCH FUNNY
Knights of the 21st Century – Coming Fall 2015
The Knights of the 21st Century programs were developed to help men
grow in Christ, learn to lead their families, and contribute to their
communities more effectively, and by doing this, change our culture
through the local church.
The tools provided enable men to see God's purpose behind their
design, develop their God-given talents, and appreciate the presence of
Christ in every area of their lives.
Across the nation, different Knights men's ministry groups are learning
new ways of fighting for their wives, children, and God as a result of
these and other innovative and life-changing programs.
CHURCH FUNNY
Two cannibals meet up one day. The first cannibal says, "You know, I just can't seem to get a tender Missionary.
I've baked them, I've roasted them, I've stewed them, I've barbecued them, I've tried every sort of marinade I can
find. I just cannot seem to get them tender!" The second cannibal asks, "Well, what kind of Missionary do you
use?" The other replied, "Oh, you know, the ones that hang out at that place down at the bend of the river. They
have those big brown cloaks with a rope around the waist and they're all sort of bald on top with a funny ring of
hair on their heads." "Ah, ha!" the second cannibal replies. "No wonder. That’s the problem.. ... those are friars!"
Rev. John is preaching at 2911 Church in Tahlequah Oklahoma this morning. We welcome Pastor Bob with us this morning.
