Special Families Fun Fest is:

This fantastic indoor event has 4 Rooms of fun and 50+ attractions. A

carnivalesque atmosphere with midway games, arts and crafts, a sensory room,

petting zoo and a bike course! The event also hosts vendors offering products

and services specifically designed for children with special needs.

According to a recent study by the U.S.

Department of Health and Human Services, onein five households is home to a child with specialneeds. That is 13.5 million children and 18.5% ofall children under the age of 18. Children withspecial needs face many difficulties, from mentaland physical delays to emotional impairments.These children, and the families who love them,

fight an up-hill battle every day.

Rarely do families who have children withspecial needs get to enjoy a disability-friendlyenvironment where everyone is welcome. Witha crowd of their peers, special families can enjoysomething fun together that they might not

typically be able to do. Fun designed with theirneeds in mind and a group of people whounderstand their childs disability makes thisfamily outing enjoyable for everyone!

As you can imagine the cost of living for thesefamilies is high. We would love to make thecost to attend this event very manageable.These sponsorships will help us lower theadmission price to an amount these familiescan all afford.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated toFamily Hope Foundation.

Family Hope Foundation is an all-volunteer, 501c3

nonprofit organization, committed to helpingnot just children with special needs, but theentire family unit. The Board of Directors ismade up of field professionals, individualsfrom the medical community, parents ofchildren with special needs, and businessleaders driven to make a difference. Thesefounding board members and advisors arecommitted to bringing resources and supportto families in need of assistance.

Family Hope Foundation is a uniqueorganization in West Michigan. There are noother organizations providing scholarships forall types of therapy to any facility in the areaand providing low-cost, disability-friendlyfamily fun events that everyone can enjoy.
