About Workshop

India’s Financial Markets are vibrant and undergoing huge transformation. Stock Indices NIFTY 50, S&P BSE SENSEX are reaching new heights. BSE SENSEX is almost touching 30000 mark first time in the 150 years history of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). This workshop focuses on various components of India’s Financial Markets like Equities, Derivatives, Bonds, Commodities and Currencies trading on Indian Exchanges. Further to value add to MBA( Finance) Final Sem students, the workshop particularly focuses on Financial Derivatives, Types of Derivatives like Futures & Options, Fundamental Linkages of Spot & Derivative Markets.

About the Department

Orienting students to adopt Promising qualities of TEAMWORK and COMMUNICATION The department offers one post graduate program in the form of MBA (Master of Business Administration). The program is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and the syllabi and academic calendar followed is as per JNTU regulations.

The order to develop the innate skills among students certain innovative practices are adopted by the department. Every day two periods are dedicated for seminars, team assignments. group discussions and various business and economics related activities.

Students are encouraged to do regular case studies enabling them to understand the intricacies of management and appreciate the role of Manager in resolving them for better business decisions and sustenance.

The depar tment has well qualified and experienced faculty. The department has well equipped exclusive library for staff and students which houses various reference books, business manuals, reference material on marketing, finance, human resources, economics, computers and information technology.

Dr P. Narayana, founder chairman, Narayana Group of Educational Institutions , Honorable Minister, AP State promoted this institute as Narayana Engineering College in the year 1998. This college is affiliated to JNT University, Anantapuramu.Dr. P. Narayana was born in 1957 in Nellore. Though he hails from humble beginnings, there has been no looking back through his sheer hard work and dedication. He graduated and honoured with Gold Medal in Statistics in 1977 and took a postgraduate degree in the same discipline in 1979 from S. V. University, Tirupathi .
