Reports Edition New Patient Counts
▶ Report Challenge: In some cases, I need to count a patient as a New Patient, even if they have not had an Eval Code
▶ Solution: In 2019.2, there is a new option to post a zero dollar code NP001 > and set it up to count as a New Patient

▶ To count by Patient Demographics > Effective Date, then uncheck the box

▶ The patient will count as a New Patient on Summary Totals if the Effective Date is included in the Posting Date report range
▶ TIP: Test from a single patient ledger > Print > Statistics > Select Filters > Select Summary Totals

▶ Solution: Run the Daysheet Stats - Monthly Breakdown
▶ Go to Main Menu > Daily Ledger > Print > Daysheet > Special > Select Posting Date Range and any other applicable filters > F10 > Select Ledger Detail + Monthly
▶ Option to select Summary Totals to get a billing code breakdown of total claim
