    Past simple tense

    Usage: we use the past simple tense to talk about actions that happened

    and finished in the past.

    1- I welcomed my friends at my house last month. 2- Last year I was only seven years old. 3- We walked to the food court yesterday.

    Negative form

    Remember that the negative form of (verb to be) in the past is

    Equal adjectives (as..as)

    To show that two nouns are equal or share the same adjective, we use the words (as..as)

    Noun 1 is as (adjective) as Noun 2

    Ex: A camel is as (strong) as a yak.

    Comparative of short adjectives
