The vocabulary is presented through a scene which contextualises the unit topic and usually features the course characters.

Follow-up activities focus on listening and speaking. These activities reinforce the target language.

The song then presents the vocabulary with the target language to be covered in the unit. Pupils sing and act out the song.

In Levels 3 and 4, pupils are guided through each unit by a group

of friends (Bobby, Vicky, Natalie and Hassan). They are introduced

to reading, writing, grammar and authentic communication through

short, easily manageable tasks with achievable outcomes.

Diamond Quest is an adventure comic strip featuring two new characters: Casey and Ronnie. It consolidates the language learnt in the unit in a fun way. All episodes are animated and available both in the Digital Pupil’s book and Teacher’s Resource Centre.
