furniture industry reflects the bold and lively

personality of the country. Spanish firms has no

fear of experimenting with colours, forms, and

materials in order to get always new products

that set a mood and evoke a feeling. This is

crucial to establish an emotional link with users,

which is, by the way, another special issue of

Spain’s furniture production.

The offer on display at Feria Hábitat Valencia

2015 reflects this passionate approach that

ACTIU has developed seven new series of products

which combine functionality, comfort, ergonomics

and design to meet the latest trends in the installation

of workspaces. Under the new product line Soft

Seating we can find models like LONGO, armchairs

designed by studio Ramos & Bassols, which enable

hundreds of possible configurations thanks to its

modular format; and BADMINTON, designed by

ITEMdesignworks, a real commitment towards

sophistication embodied in a bucket seat with a

completely innovative design. Finally, designed for

both contract and offices, we find the WING chair,

designed by Ramos & Bassols and winner of the

prestigious IF DESIGN AWARDS 2015, which

represents a great technical evolution thanks to the

technology employed in its manufacture with gas

injection.

productos que combinan funcionalidad, comodidad,

ergonomía y diseño para dar respuesta a las últimas

tendencias en la instalación de espacios de trabajo.

Destaca la nueva línea Soft Seating con modelos

Specially created for contract use, RAGLAN

reputation for its attractive high-end classic chandeliers, the firm has

also a wide catalogue of highly contemporary designs that goes under

the brand “almerich”. For this venture, ALMERICH has worked in close

Research into the use of new technologies and the

search of new positions has inspired Alegre Design

the design of the EGO armchair. The user has the

possibility of holding a tablet, changing position,

resting on one arm or lying down: these are new

possibilities for contract spaces such as hotels and

receptions. El estudio en el uso de las nuevas

tecnologías y la búsqueda de nuevas posiciones ha

inspirado a Alegre Design en el diseño de la

OM is a collection of sun shades that can easily

adapt to every outdoor space and need. Thanks

to its versatile design and its technical features,

Om is available in three different models: the

central pole umbrella; the wall umbrella; the

folding wind/ambience, fixed to the floor.

The NUA collection includes an armchair, a two-

seater sofa and an 80X80 table with a 10mm HPL

Trespa top. It features a white tubular aluminum

frame covered with Batyline®sling fabrics that

The PASARELA armchair by Gabriel Teixidó is an

unusual and comfortable piece made of a metallic frame

covered with an anticorrosion paint. The feet feature a

By strenghtening its collaborations with professional designers, GRASSOLER, one of the most solid and

leading firm in the Spanish furnishing sector, has launched four new models, designed by GABREIL

TEIXIDÓ and DTG. Una de la firma más antiguas del sector, GRASSOLER ha lanzado en Valencia sus ultimas

colecciones fruto de su renovada colaboración con Gabriel Teixidó y DTG.

Another creation of Gabriel Teixidó, CUC is a contract

sofa for waiting areas. It features a DM and pine wood

frame covered by polyether .Feet are made of beech

wood and varnished in wenge colours. Sit and back

made of polyether (35 kg/m3 cfc free).

The new TWIST collection is an excellent

combination of elegance and timeless

aesthetics created by Mark Gabbertas. The

experimental use of the rope as a new

material has resulted in ergonomic seats

that have character through the simplicity

of its shapes and volumes. The table

system of the collection starts also from

this simplicity and the space existent

between the legs and the top of the tables

produce an effect of floatability on them.

The use of tropical woods, new intelligent

fabrics and aluminum make the ISLAND

collection the perfect outdoor furniture

365 days a year, regardless of the weather

conditions. The modular sofa system is the

centerpiece of this OI SIDE collection

designed by Ursula Martinez and it allows

a wide range of possibilities by combining

different modules and intelligent fabrics

for further customization. The Island tables

and chairs, of a sophisticated character,

have both strength and comfort. Finally,

the deck chair is easy to manipulate and

elegant at the same time thanks to its

refined fabrics.

La colección TWIST diseñada por Mark Gabbertas

es una excelente combinación de elegancia y

estética atemporal. El uso experimental de la

cuerda ha dado como resultado unos asientos

ergonómicos con carácter desde la sencillez de sus

formas y volúmenes. De esta simplicidad parte

también el sistema de mesas de la colección, cuya

separación entre patas y tablero crea una

sensación de flotabilidad. Los materiales

STRADA, a modular programme

aimed to more informal yet elegant

spaces. To gain in visual lightness,

legs are made in aluminium.

Bajo la marca PAU DESIGN de tapizados contemporáneos, LATORRE presenta la colección STRADA. Diseñada por Guillermo Torrent , consiste en una propuesta para hacer más informales lugares elegantes. Para aportar una mayor ligereza al conjunto las patas se han realizado en aluminio.

Designed by Francesc Rifé, ROUND is a new outdoor

furniture collection that includes sofas, armchairs, coffee

and dining tables, stools and chairs. With a lacquered

aluminium structure, ROUND combines Shintotex fibres

with natural grade-A teak wood of Asian origin and top-

quality weather-resistant fabrics.

The HAMP collection by Francesc Rifé offers sofas and

armchairs in natural teak wood that come upholstered in

three different tones of Batyline fabrics (cream, grey and

dark grey) that can be combined to add further interest.

The PUL collection and the BUT chairs, both designed by

Francesc Rifé, are also novelties presented by POINT.

For a more contemporary yet natural look, in the ARC

collection by Gabriel Teixidó legs come in teak wood while

created VEGETAL, a fresh outdoor seating collections

el sector hotelero, diseña y produce mobiliario de

exterior contemporáneo y de tendencia en

colaboración con prestigiosos diseñadores. La marca

includes a stylish contemporary two-seater with matching armchairs and upholstered coffee table that can also

be used to extend the lounge area. Made of clean lines and refined upholsteries, pieces feature stainless steel

legs that lend lightness to them and can be finished in different ways. GRAND NATIONAL MIDSUMMER is a

new version of the successful former Grand National line. Designed by Guillermo Torrent drawing inspirations

from the avant-garde of the 50’s, the sofas and armchairs of this new line take the scene in grand spaces

bringing instant glamour and comfort. The back side integrates a bookcase with LED lighting system, while the

front part comes upholstered in a beautiful capitonne finish. Available in a large selection of fabrics as well as in

The firm offers a full range of well-made home furniture for living and dining rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls

and home-office, plus a series of occasional furniture, such as shoe cabinets, mirrors, coat stands, that

complement the home décor adding functionality to spaces. The materials that new furnishing items deploy

are varied in tone and colours and include solid beech wood and a choice of different warm veneers, such as

the cherry, walnut or mahogany, and lacquers. Pieces come discreetly embellished by beautiful marquetry on

Among the novelties presented by COMOTEX let´s

highlight the use of new and different materials in

the production of mattresses. The collection of

handcrafted mattresses, which are made with

natural materials such as silk, wool and cotton and

produced one by one following handcrafted

techniques, guarantees an exceptional resting time
