Who we are and What we doEnergía Aljaval is a Spanish company with international
presence and a large team of experienced professionals who
have developed their careers within the renewable energy
industry. During the last years of professional activity we have
consolidated our three main lines of business, i.e. Project
Development, Engineering and PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) negotiation
for various technologies such as Photovoltaic Solar Power ground mounted
and roofs-top, Wind Power,Co-generation andBiomass.
We are currently developing over 50 photovoltaic solar power
projects, which together add up to over 4 GW in many countries,
always operating with local partners.
Energía Aljaval is active in LATAM (mainly in Mexico and
Argentina) and Europe (Italy, France and Spain).
In line with our strategic plan, we have started developing
develop photovoltaic and wind projects in Brazil and Central
Europe.

Regarding the most current experience and successes, Energía Aljaval has the following projects in operation (537.5 MWp)
in Mexico:
Torreoncitos (33.3 MWp),
Jiménez, Chihuahua. EPC by BESTER Energy.
Rancho El Trece (33.1
MWp), Camargo, Chihuahua.EPC by BESTER Energy.
Tepezalá II (133.3 MWp),
Tepezalá, Aguascalientes.EPC by TRINA Solar.
Trompezón (158.6 MWp),
Aguascalientes.EPC by ENGIE México.
Los Ahumadas (179.2 MWp),
Ahumada, Chihuahua. EPC by BESTER Energy.
In addition, Energía Aljaval has the following projects under construction (328.8 MWp) in Mexico:
▪ Los Ocampos (99.3 MWp) in Frontera, Coahuila.
▪ Tastiota (125.0 MWp) in Hermosillo, Sonora.
▪ Calera (104.5 MWp) in Calera de Víctor Rosales, Zacatecas.
Four of these projects were winners in the Long Term Auctions summoned by the Centro Nacional de Control de Energía
(CENACE).
Currently, we have more than 1,000 MW operatingor under construction byour sponsors in Mexico.
Energía Aljaval has three main lines of business: Project
Development, Engineering and sale of energy through the
negotiation of PPA contracts. Project Development and
Engineering ends with the delivery of the projects once
these have reached RTB (Ready To Build) status.
In parallel, we are involved in negotiating the PPA to sell the
energy the project will generate for the final customer.
In the case of PV projects, we also carry out the EPC and O&M.
DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERING PPANEGOTIATION
PTC-SPVR O&M-SPVR
RTB
Energía Aljaval´s main business activity is the Promotion and Development of projects to generate
electrical power from renewable energies:
- Searching and
contracting land (or roof-
top incaseof PV)suitable
in terms of technology,
required permits and
projectprofitability.
- Incorporation ofSPVs
(Specific Purpose
Vehicles orEntities)
-Revision of
legal documentation:
Scriptures, Records,
Assemblies, Books
and
Freedom of liens.
- DesigningtheBasic
EngineeringProject,
both of the Solar Plant
as of the
Infrastructuresof
evacuation.
-Obtaining allthe necessary
permits tobegin the
construction of the
project and to finally
grid-connect the power
plant, suchas:
•Environmental permits
•Public national,
regional and local
authorizations
•Utilitie's connection
and transportpermits.
- Assistance until the
project has been gone
through an Investor’s
Due Diligence, as well as
during EPC andO&M.
With the purpose of increasing
profitability and security for investors
in our power plant projects, Energía
Aljaval creates a portfolio of medium
and large power consumers for which
we design a commercial offer to sign
with them a medium-long term PPA in
order to best meet their electricity
needs and maximize their savings.
In order to do so, it is necessary to carry
out a detailed electricity consumption
study of the consumer, based on an
extended consumption profile obtained
through their bills. Finally the power is
supplied through the existing electrical
infrastructure and the consumer remains
at all times connected to the grid,
needed to guaranty the supply for the
times (night-time) when the power plant
is not operating.
• Financial savings in comparison to
the power supplied by the
Utilities.
• Certainty of the cost the con-
sumer will be required to pay
for electricity supply in the
medium to long term.
• No initial investment is required.
• There are no availability risks, as
the consumer can always rely
on the national electricity grid
supply.
• Environmental aspects (savings in
emissions, renewable
technology, etc.) and the image
reputation as a modernand
sustainablecompany.
• Use of renewable energy based on
the most abundant resources
on earth such as sunlight,
wind, etc.
We meet your power
supply needs through the
“renewable generation”.
Energía Aljaval has an Engineering
Department with the ability to
carry out all types of preliminary
studies, basic project designs,
detailed project designs, project
management, third party tender,
supply of equipment, O&M, etc.
Energía Aljaval provides to the
client a team of Engineers and
Project Managers with more than 10
years’ experience in the design of
electrical systems, mainly for
renewable energy power plants,
and which is able to advise on
technical matters throughout the
entire development stage of the
project.
Over 10 years of experience inthe design of mainly renewableenergy electrical systems.
Energía Aljaval has the capacity to perform the Engineering,
Procurement and Construction (EPC) stages of their PV ground
mounted and roof-top solutions offering to the client turnkey
projects where the design, engineering, construction and operation of
the system are carried out together with the supply of the system.
We offer complete turn-key solutions from one single source, thus
achieving a more efficient service and en- suring compliance with the
timings established and the costs quoted.
We offer a 100% Aljavalproject where we carry out the design, construction and operation of the system.
Energía Aljaval currently offers O&M only for PV
projects on roof-tops, thus completing the value
chain for this type ofproject.
Through this service we optimise the investment
made in these projects, as we manage to extend
their operational lifespan by preventing
deterioration of the system in the following ways:
Monitoring being the most important part of the
O&M service, helps to provide a fast response to
any incident.
Preventive maintenance of the plant ensures
maximum availability and optimal production, thus
reducing downtimes to a great extent. Corrective
maintenance corrects errors within the shortest
space of time in the event of failure.
We optimise the investment made in your project and manage to extend the operational lifespan of the same.
PV GROUND MOUNTED
Energía Aljaval currently develops over 50 utility-scale ground
mounted PV projects in several countries together with various
local partners, adding deployed power in excess of 5 GW. The first
1,000 MW of these projects are already in
construction/operation.
CO-GENERATION
Energía Aljaval´s Engineering Department has the
capacity to design the best and most efficient
solutions for industrial clients, where their own
electricity and thermal power production processes
may become crucial components, to increase the
competitiveness of the company. Additionally to this
improvement, CO2 emissions will be reduced; there will
be a lesser use of water and greater reliability and
stability of the electrical system. Energía Aljaval is
capable of developing your co-generation turnkeyprojects.
Potential clients with whom we may work in this sector
are industrial entrepreneurs of the paper, agricultural
food products, textile and drug industries, as well
as other manufacturers with high consumption of
electricity and thermal power for their processes.
PVROOF -TOP
With regard to the PV roof-top projects, we offer our
services through our four lines of business: Project
Development, PPA negotiation, EPC and O&M. We are currently
working on several projects in various countries ranging
from 100 kW to4 MW.
BIOMASS
At Energía Aljaval we also develop renewable energy
projects based on the use of biomass (it may be from
forests, livestock farms, waste from agro-food products,
etc.).
Electrical production using biomass has an enormous
development potential in many countries of the world,
together with other significant benefits such as the creation
of employment, development of the rural areas and contribution to
improve theenvironment.
WINDPOWER
In the wind energy sector we have the experience
of having developed 119 MW of wind power plants.
