Foreword (1/3)• In 1987, the Kraftwerke Mainz-Wiesbaden,

Germany (KMW AG), became the first official andregistered user of the DIgSILENT software.

• The fact that after some 27 years, KMW AG’sPowerFactory installations are still maintained is adefinite indicator that any possible initial doubt wasunwarranted.

• In fact, over the past several years, the user basehas grown considerably, establishing a large usercommunity of highly qualified, experienced andcreative users.
