AnalysisThis image was taken by John Rankin Waddell, the model in this photo is an American actress named Christina Ricci. This image is clear because I could not find a better image with better quality.

As you can see the image is showing us a feeling which is being shown by her face reaction. The feeling is making us wonder what is wrong with her. This image is also powerful because of her face expression .

Colors use in this photograph is simple and has only three main colors which is white, black, and gray. The color is balance with the black and white so that the views can see where the object outline.

The background is simple; it is a plain background without any patterns or any other object that doesn’t belong in the image. The lighting use in the image was put in front of her but isn't to bright so that it wont blind her and also the shadow in her back adds an extra feeling to the image to show that the feeling she is feeling is not that happy and its sad just

thinking about it. This image is format is a portrait with a simple background and gives mysterious feeling about it that make the viewers want to know what is happening to her that is making her show a face expression like that. Rules of third is use in this image and simplicity.

I don’t know why this image got my attention but something about it just got it. I think it is because of the face expression is she showing makes me question the image meaning and what it is trying to show or tell me.

Nothing in this image shows a certain object other then the girls to make her express her emotion; there is not piece of clothing shown in this photo to show any details or hints that can help figure out what is wrong with her.
