I was really impressed with the NWEA reading scores I observed while in the computerlab with the class last Tuesday! YEA! The kids were so excited to graph their scores

as being higher than those of the average first graders! Our math portion of theNWEA is next Tuesday, so be sure to send/order a good lunch that day. (The mathportion seems to be a bit more challenging for the kids than the reading session.) Keepup with that nightly math fact fluency practice and your camper will do just fine!

Thanks for all of your help with our robots! This activity was a huge hit and we got a lotof writing/creative thinking out of it! Whether you donated some items or held a hotglue gun, Camp Cronce sends you a hearty THANK YOU!

eBooks on ScootPad: Im hearing some campers are really excited about the eBookstheyve read and are recommending others read those books, too. Ive gotten caughtup in the excitement of sharing and would like each camper to fill out the attachedreview sheet on an eBook theyve read. We will be sharing these reviews next week!

TABLE TALK: NWEA reading test, District Writing Assessment, Rivalry between CampCronce and Camp Serazin, building and writing about our robots, learning the differencebetween Physical Characteristics and Human Characteristics of our environment

Looking forward to the week ahead,
