About School“CHIRANJEEVEE CONCEPT SCHOOL” as the name means concept based education system providing a healthy environment to focus more on practical knowledge. Here “concept” means inculcating clarity of subjects, thoughts and the principles of life.

The core purpose of education is to provide children with a stimulating learning environment which brings out the best in them. We believe that each child is unique and endowed with his/her own set of abilities, skills and talent which need to be nurtured in the best possible way so that they blossom. Each child has tremendous energy and potential, It is also imperative that the child realizes his inner strength and inner talent to the full potential.

Our aim is to impart quality education which goes beyond academics & extra curricular activities and hence to provide conceptual mastery of the curriculum imbibing values of life, creativity and analytical thinking process. Our pedagogy is child centric with emphasis on creative learning.

CHIRANJEEVEE CONCEPT SCHOOL (CCS) is an extension of Chiranjeevee Public School (a primary wing, since 1996) and Chiranjeevee Play School (a pre-primary wing, since 2011). Chiranjeevee school group is known for its best pre-primary education, is at the pinnacle of quality education at Ranchi. CCS is a co-educational English medium school with CBSE curriculum. It is situated at Hocher, Kanke 3 kms from Birsa Agriculture University.

CHIRANJEEVEE CONCEPT SCHOOL is the vision of Dr. (Mrs) Maya Kumar, an eminent educationist, passionate and dedicated towards children’s education. A Master’s degree in physics, she has specialization and Ph.D in Secondary Education. She has been in the field of education for the last 33 years. She started her career from Kendriya Vidyalaya and also served in Navodaya Vidyalaya for 10 years.

She started with her dream project Chiranjeevee School in 1996 for serving the society by establishing a school for kids based on thematic curriculum. After completing 23 years of excellence in pre-primary and primary education, she is moving forward with her new project “CHIRANJEEVEE CONCEPT SCHOOL”, a school focused on the holistic development of each and every child in academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities using multiple intelligence of children.

She is a visionary and writer too. She considers Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam as her great source of inspiration. Her eminent literary works are “gekjs pkpk usg:” and “djksM+ksas ds izsj.kkiqat % MkW- dyke”. She has also authored 7 books for pre-primary classes based on child psychology and thematic curriculum.

She believes that 21st Century Education is about training students on the skills they need to succeed in this new world and helping them to grow the confidence to practice those skills. These skills are backed by the innovative technologies, critical thinking and effective communication.

We are committed to provide a perfect balance of academics, sports, artistic and social opportunity to ensure student’s emotional growth along with intellectual excellence, who can take up the challenges of tomorrow.

2. School aims to provide equal opportunity to each student according to his/her interest and potential to participate in co-curricular and extra curricular activities. To fullfill our vision, the whole school is divided into four houses i.e. Anurag house, Chetna house, Jagriti house and Kirti house. The house concept helps to develop social awareness as well as spirit of competitiveness among students.

Admission

• Admission is open for U.KG to class VI.• U.KG : Age group 4½ to 5½ years (as on 31st March

of corresponding year)• Std. I : 5+ years as on 31st March of corresponding

year.• Admission is granted on academic ground,

every candidate needs to be registered before admission.

• Admission form and prospectus is available in our city office (Chiranjeevee Play/Public school) between 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on all working days.

• At the time of admission, student must produce a leaving certificate from the last school attended.

Rule for students

• Students must obey their Principal, teachers and captain of the school.

• They must follow all the rules and reach the school on time, late comers will not be allowed to attend the class.

• Students must come to school in proper prescribed uniform

• All students are supposed to speak English as the campus language is English.

• No leave is granted during examination/assessment except under any emergency.

• It is compulsory for students to be present on the first and the last working day before and after each vacation.

• All students must take care of school property, any damage caused by the student must be repaired at his/her cost or a fine will be imposed for the offence.

Note for parents

• All parents are expected to follow all the rules and guidelines set by the school management.

• Both parents are expected to be present at the time of parent-teacher meeting.

• They must send their wards to the school in neat and clean uniform, nails & hair cut properly.

• Parents must see their ward’s school diary daily and follow the instructions.

• Terminal progress report card will be sent to the parents through their wards, parents must send it back next day after putting their signature.

Withdrawal

• Application for the withdrawal of a student should be addressed to the principal a month in advance.

• All dues must be cleared and related formalities completed before transfer certificate is issued.

• If the student is withdrawn or does not join the school before the start of the academic session, registration and admission fee shall be forfeited and only tuition fee shall be refunded.

• If the student is withdrawn after the start of the academic session, fee for one quarter and other expenses incurred shall be charged.

• School authorities have the right to ask a student to withdraw on the following grounds.(a) Irregular attendance (b) No payment of fee(c) His/her conduct is injurious to the smooth

functioning of the school or any indisciplinary act.

Security At CCS, special care has been taken to ensure that our students are accommodated safely in all respects during school hours. A reliable security system has been arranged with professional security personnel. A completely fenced 8 feet boundary wall with razor sharp barbed wire throughout the campus is equipped with sufficient no. of CCTV cameras.
