About Us

Robotics training is what we dream to make elementary for student community in India as it has

been done in Economic Superpowers like USA, China and Japan. We wish to share the knowledge of

this discipline with students of varied backgrounds to make them aware of the upcoming future

technology. We strive to deliver the best training with theory concepts incorporated with practical

aspects and hands on training robotics kits.

We provide complete technical solutions to enable students with hands on experience. Our target

audience comprises of College level students with a motive to enhance their practical skill set and

bring them at par with the new technologies around them. The company has its independent

Research & Development Wing that looks into Agricultural, Industrial and Domestic Automation

Product development as well.

Business Profile

Since its founding in 2011, Skubotics has given workshops and conducted seminars in 5 different

schools addressing more than 1000 students in Kolkata and Durgapur (NSHM) under our programme

Robotics in Schools. The company expanded its operations in 2013 by designing path breaking

technological solutions to serve the different societal and economic layers of the society in fields of

home automation and agricultural automation domain.

8051_Gyaan : 8051 Based Embedded Systems

About the Training :

Students will be exposed to the exciting world of 8051 BASED EMBEDDED SYSTEMS. Our Hands on

Training makes sure that the students dive deep into Electronics and reinforce their basic concepts that

need to be upright at the end of their engineering careers. Our sessions start from identification of

various components to soldering them on their own to make complex systems out of the knowledge

imparted to them. The training content is developed in such a way, keeping in mind student’s

requirements and the requirement of the various work firms which take in students based on their real

time exposure. On an addition, we will be covering all the basics of 8051 and required electronics such

as how to make sensors, electrical connections, electronics concepts and mechanical concepts required

to make various robot for technical games that are now a days a trend in almost all nooks and corners of

India.

6 Days [3 Hours/Day]

Course Content:

Detailed discussion on Embedded Systems and their applications in real life.

Anatomy of various embedded systems around: Anatomy includes tearing apart

existing devices for proper understanding of the working of embedded systems.

What is an 8051? How to build one? and related anatomy: We will cover in depth

about the electronics involved with making 8051 projects and will help students to

make projects of their own and gain real-time PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

experience.

Getting used to the 8051 microcontroller (Baby steps): Everything about how to

program 8051 and how to use the programmer and related software-Using Keil to

burn hex files into the microcontroller.

ADC Interfacing and Detailed Memory Mapping and Pin Mapping Discussion:

Further hands on sessions on how to read Analog voltages on the pins of 8051,

various uses of memory, timers, interrupts, ADC etc. Also teach about Atmel

8051/AT89Cxx or AT89Sxx family of microcontrollers.

Understanding and Designing Sensors: (Digital and Analog) Hands on Soldering

Sessions to be covered here. Introduction to IR, LDR, Ultrasonic & LM35.

Getting used to Proteus: Students will be made accustomed to use Proteus and

Keil.

Getting used to display devices: Playing with 16x2 LCD and 7 segment.

Getting used to Motor Driver Design and Construction: Working with transistors,

relays, motor driver IC.

Learning the basics of Autonomous Robotics: Starting from making a line

follower, pit avoider, obstacle avoider and Wall follower every robot will be

developed right from the theoretical scratch to using the practical dump around

us to build competition ready robots.


NOTE : None of the workshops requires any pre-requisite knowledge except the students are expected to be clear with their higher secondary maths, physics and computer programming concepts.

Certifications:

Students will be certified for the Training as 8051 Embedded Expert!!

All content will be provided for 8051-Botics Workshop which will contain the workshop codes and

exercises.
