HAPPY THANKSGIVING NOVEMBER 2016 BUCKEYE BREEZE Mum, Mum, Mum is the word. They come in many colors for our flower garden! October was a busy month…traveling to all five Zones for their fall conferences. Everyone outdid themselves with decorations in my theme. I just want to say, “Thank You…Thank You”! It was nice to see all the Aeries and Auxiliaries working together. I got to see how our “Watering Cans” (District Leaders) were proud of the “Seed Packets” (New Members) they have planted. Our “Humming Birds” (Charity Chairmen) fluttered around and reported on how they were earning money for their charities. I was speaker at my assigned Zone and when I spoke with the men, I reminded them that if there is an Auxiliary in the Aerie home that the ladies should join the Auxiliary. Again…”Thank You” for all the work everyone did to make all the conferences a success. My calendar for the month of November is as follows: I hope to see my Eagle Sisters at East Central Regional in Perrysburg, Ohio, on November 4th and 5th. Grand Madam President, Judy Johnson, will be attending. It will be a great time to spend with our Michigan Brothers and Sisters! November 12th, I will be attending Louisville #2374 for their Joint Anniversary. November 19th, I will travel to Beverly #3665 to celebrate their Anniversary. If you would like me at attend anything in your home Auxiliary, just send an email or letter to Madam State Secretary, Debbie, asking for me to attend. She is my schedule keeper and does an awesome job. November is a month we should all be “Thankful” for so many things. I am glad I have my family and Eagle family. So when we sit around the table on that special day, let’s remember family and friends near and far and ones that are no longer with us and the military, police and government officials serving to keep us all free. Hope to see many of my Eagle Brothers and Sisters as I “Buzz Around” the Great State of OH..IO!!! I am sad to report that JPSMP Gwen Salyers' younger brother, Jerry Michael Music, from Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on October 2, 2016. Cards can be sent to Gwen at: 6632 Glacier Avenue, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068

Kathy Bowler, from Lake Shore Auxiliary #2243, great grandson Mason lost his battle with cancer in October. Please keep the family in your prayers. Cards can be sent to Kathy at: 544 Sherman Street, Geneva, OH 44041. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for all the cards, love and support shown me during the loss of my beloved wife, JoAnn. My love to all, Harry West, PSWP Dear Sisters: You are truly flowers from the garden. Thank you all so much for the beautiful cards. It is especially nice to receive all those beautiful cards with their warm greetings while you are recovering. Everything went well, I’m less one gallbladder with stones. Hopefully there will be no more pain. Love you all, Patricia A. Rawlins (A grateful Eagle Sister)

To all of those who are ill, we wish you a speedy recovery. To all those who have lost loved ones, we send our sincere sympathy.

Delta Auxiliary #2597 celebrated their 50th Anniversary on October 2, 2016. Helping with the ceremony were PSP Mary Miller and State Historian Carol Jakubowski. One Charter Member, Rheadia Sindel, was present as were many of the more recent Past Presidents to join the celebration. Long time members were honored with their 40 and 50 year pins. A meal and anniversary cake were provided for all those present. Sandy McCullough

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! To everyone who donated for the Leadership Tea, we could not do this without your support. Hope everyone had a great time and came away with good information. The District Leaders made some wonderful challenges. This will be a fun year!! Hope to see you soon.

Just a reminder that if you did not send in your District Report for the month of October please do so. Even though we had Zone Conferences they must still be sent in. Also if you have received a Secretaries report after you have sent in your monthly report please drop me a note. (Email or

text me it is cheaper) We don’t want the Secretary’s name in the Breeze if it was late. Just remind Secretaries the report needs to be completed by District Meeting. Thanks for your help!!!

For Home – For Country – For God – And For Loyalty

I want to thank everyone who came out to Akron 555, Saturday, October 22 and helped make the beauty pageant a success. There are no words to describe the love and support I felt from all of you. These men really had too much fun with this and were such troopers to let the spouses and friends do their makeup, though a few were very comfortable doing their own.

Again a huge shout out to these men!!!
