STUDENT MINISTRY NEWS

Crossroads Student Ministries focus on students in grades 7 through 12. We offer students weekly opportunities and several

events throughout the year to grow in their understanding of and relationship with a loving God.

Joplin Mission Trip- Please be in prayer for the 27 students and adults who are headed to

Joplin, MO tomorrow to help with relief work after the F5 tornado hit there last summer.

We will be meeting tomorrow morning at 6:15am in The Overflow (the Garage behind

church). Come having already eaten breakfast or bring it with you. The packing list was

emailed to parents (if you didn’t get it text Andy at 217-512-5768).

Thank you so much for donating, purchasing, setting up, cleaning up and helping with the Yard

Sale! This year was a huge success! We made just over $5,000 to cover the cost of both the Middle

School and High School mission trips! This fundraiser couldn’t happen without the participation of our

Crossroads Faith Family, so thank you!

The Greenhouse- The new name for the Student Ministry area is “The Greenhouse: where Christ takes root”. 1 Corinthians 3:4

-9 tells us that as Christians we are to be involved in the planting (telling Jesus’ story) and watering (encouraging others in the

faith) and God will make it (faith) grow.

mational emails that will be sent out regularly. This is an additional means of communication paired with The City (see below

for how to join).

The City for Parents- Crossroads is using a new platform to communicate church events, prayers, service projects, etc. and we

have created a group specifically for parents of 7-12 grade students. Please join us once you have become a member of The

City. To become a member simply go to www.crossroadsgray.org and click "get connected" then select “The City”. This will be
