Spotlight Matches

Beginning in the New Year (last), wres-

tlers will be able to sign a “Spotlight”

Match in one singles, tag and Six-Man

match each in order to become contenders

for our IC titles. Wins are worth 1 point

and losses/draws are 0.

Once the original IC champions are

crowned, the commish will publish a top-

contender list for each title based on these

Spotlight match results, titles and also

Trash Talk. An important note: Spotlight

matches cannot be against scrubs.

Defending champs get a +2 points in IC

matches. Titles will be defended every

cycle.

NML joins BOTW

The NML has joined the LWL, FAL, IGL

& GAL in the Brotherhood of the Wolf.

The concept behind the BOTW is similar

to the touring territories of the old NWA.

EDGE wins 2019 Stable Wars competition

Imagine in the vintage days of Dusty

Rhodes, Roddy Piper, and the like, toured

areas like Mid-Atlantic, Georgia, Florida,

etc for weeks/months at a time and then

move on. That’s what we are looking to

do to boost activity/keep things interest-

ing—have guys “tour” for a few cycles.

Some may stay long term, others short, and

participation in this is entirely optional. If

BOTW Tag Tourney

The Brotherhood of the Wolf’s first contest is going to be hosted in the IGL.

1.) Select your favorite pro-wrestling tag team (as seen on TV) from the 70's-80's-90's

Mackenzie Holubowski claims Wrestler of the Year

2019 saw Mackenzie Holubowski dominate the league, winning 2 league titles and a TV

title to go with a host of other titles and awards. She was a regular contributor to the

Free Wrestler Creation

As part of a new feature for Pioneer Leagues, the NML now features free wrestler crea-

tion—so get those ladies signed up. Managers are still limited to having six wrestlers per

league and transfers are not allowed.

SOS ends 2019 in lead of stable standings

Despite the Stable Wars contest results, SOS was the top stable in the league through

2019 amassing 775 points. For their efforts, they will share in $10,000 IM.

EDGE took 2nd place in the competition with 655 points while FLOW took third with

610 points.

Haylay & Chantelle named Tag Team of the Year

SOS’ Haylay & Chantelle amassed 157 points in 2019 to become the NML’s Tag Team

of the Year. For their efforts, the team will share in $10,000 IM.

HOH’s The Queen Jessica Rose & Rhonda Bazler came in 2nd place with 47 points and

COT’s Sydney & Caitlin Reinhard took 3rd with 46 points.

SOS grabs Six-Man Team of the Year

SOS’ Allie Lane, Broke Brooke and Wyld Wanda amassed 141 points in 2019 and be-

came the NML Six-Man Team of the Year.

For their efforts, they will take home $10,000

IM.

2nd place with 66 points and their team of Lady

3rd place with 41 points.

We had 18 cards in cycle #17 a little jump up what we had the cycle before. Our record is

33 cards, set in cycle #8

We had 4 Battle Royal entries in Cycle #17. This seems to be our new norm. Our record

is 35 BR entries way back in cycle #1.

The 2019 Stable Wars competition has ended and EDGE has won. HOH was com-

ing on strong recently, but EDGE was able to hold on for the win.

2019 Tournament schedule

NML Stable Wars (underway)

This contest pits all stables against each other to determine who really rules the league. How does it work? Stables will get

points based on titles they’ve dominated over the course of a year, i.e. if a TV member wins the central title more than any

other stable, they get the points and the other stables get none. If there is a tie, the points are split evenly. Also, if a wrestler

changes stables during the year, his won titles stay with the stable he was with at that time. At the end of the year, I will tab-

ulate the results and announce the winner. Points awarded for each title:

League – 25

TV – 15

Regional, Tag, Six-Man and BR – 10

Beat the Trainer, Newcomer, Trash Talker and Best Wrestler Awards – 10

IGL Intercontinental Titles/Royal Rumble – 15

The winning team splits $250k in imaginary money and the bragging rights that they “own” this league. I will even include a

line in my commish reports and on the title page which states “NML owned by (insert stable name here).”

Ms. NML- (underway)

This is a singles contest for all wrestlers in the NML. The winner receives $100k in imaginary money,

10 free matches and the title of “Ms. NML.” Ms. NML will also get to take on the NML Intercontinental

Champion at an upcoming PPV.

NML Tag Wars (Began Cycle #10)

This is a tag-team contest to determine the best duo. The winners split $100k in imaginary money,

split 10 free matches and will take on “The NML’s Intercontinental Tag Team” at an upcoming

PPV. This contest start date will be announced soon

NML Six-Man Wars (underway)

This is a Six-Man contest to determine the best 3 man team. The winners split $100k in imaginary

money, split 10 free matches and take on the NML Intercontinental Six-Man Champions at an upcom-

ing PPV.

NML Commissioner Champions

The below are the NML Commissioner Champions. The title holders are awarded $10,000 Imaginary Money upon winning

the titles. They defend their titles every cycle and the commish determines who they will face, based on Spotlight Matches

and heat. Each wrestler or team may submit one “Spotlight” match each cycle, ie a wrestler can submit one singles, tag and

six-man match per cycle Just mark the matches “Spotlight” for consideration. “Spotlight” matches cannot be against scrubs.

Winners get 1 point and losers/draws are 0. A top contender list will be published beginning next cycle for each title The

Intercontinental Champion receives 15 points and the other 2 Commissioner championship teams split 15 points for defend-

ing or winning the titles. Trash talking is a must to be considered a contender for these titles. Defending champs get a 2

point advantage in all title matches.
