Welcome back to another cycle of Cage of Honor action! You know they say a lot happens during the course of a cycle, especially before and after leagues are posted. Well we had some major developments just mere days before iron was posted. Going forward, this will be the last cycle COH will run GNL. I’m going to give my honest opinion and that is that the league quit before they gave COH a chance, which is asinine since GNL never had consistent cards, tournaments and ppv’s all of which in the five cycles the league has been under the COH banner they have had all that and more. I’m not trying to be sour but the leagues managers gave no effort when more was put forth for you. We established two new championships, the league was part of two interleague tournaments, and we had a ppv. But it is what it is and life goes on, hopefully GNL goes on and Commissioner Nichols can comeback and be the captain of the ship again. Good luck to all booked in GNL on the last COH GNL for the foreseeable future. To the champions, get ready because you’re working again. To the entire league, good luck on future tours…

On that note, last cycle we had Final Battle, the granddaddy of them all for COH. We had 10 cards and over 50 matches booked and had some major title changes. Million Dollar Man Slick Rick is your new COH World Champion! This makes him the first 4x champion in COH history. Now a few have asked me why is the COH World Championship a “world” title while CSL’s and HLL titles are named after the league. I have a simple answer and a few years back we had a big interleague war going with XPL. COH was ballsy enough to put our main championship on the line on their events twice and we won. Later that same year we defended our championship in WSL and the following year in MIL and EAL. So with several interleague defenses, that is why HWL’s COH Championship is the COH World Championship. But back to Final Battle, we crowned several new champions COH wide, Jasmyne The Supreme Diva is the new COH Vixen Champion stopping Guenevere’s impressive run. YJL’s Johnny Moore Fiend is the new ICW No Limits Champion, which the No Limits Championship is now recognized as the ICW national Championship. Big win for JMF at Final Battle over a former MEL Champion in Deathlok. Now let’s talk CSL as this one really pissed me off. So it’s a ppv cycle and there’s a dumb move with the back 5 so inactive wrestlers had a good chance at being competitive. We have the COH American, Strong Style and Grand Championships change hands with inactive wrestlers. All kidding aside this bothers me because it was a ppv cycle and the only angle in the league. Honestly, I get things happen but chronic inactive managers simply won’t be used going forward. The American, Strong Style and Grand Championships will be on the line this cycle due to this. HLL crowned new Hero Tag Team champions as VRUS dethroned the JL6 tandem. Apparently JL6 isn’t a tag fan and their hatred for Drake will rage on in singles competition. I will say the hooded inmate-Drake match stole the show. Inmate tossed Drake a beating early on but Drake made the comeback and we had a back and forth match but Inmate pulled off a huge win pinning Drake in the middle of the ring he now goes on to face CM punk to see who receives the title match the 2nd cycle of 2020.

Final Battle has come and gone and leads us into the new year, to be specific, the New Year’s Revolution tour! After this coming tour we’ll have the Capitol Combat tour where a majority of the COH Championships will be on the line. As I mentioned last year we need to have more of a timely schedule where championships are defended. Trash talk or no trash talk, this isn’t like the rasslin on tv where we have weekly action. We’re every three weeks and championships shouldn’t be defended once or twice a year, don’t get me wrong I’m all for angles but most of our leagues have angles that die off quick. I’d love if we could keep angles going for months at a time and have multiple angles COH wide but it just doesn’t seem feasible with this roster and that’s fine. We have our tournaments, our contenders series, our tours and ppvs and that works for most. So we’ll stick to a schedule and will have fighting champions and do what we do best and that’s compete! But before we get to far we need to go over the Final Battle tour as we had 10 cards of amazing action. Several new champions were crowned, tournaments continued and we had yet another killer tour. So that wraps up our Final Battle tour, 10 cards and over 50 matches leaving us with a new COh World Champion in Million Dollar Man Slick Rick. This is rick’s 4th reign as champion. Overall, I was pleased with most matches, the GNL situation was somewhat annoying but the league quit on COH before they could really enjoy what they had coming. The CSL debacle was another let down but that is why all singles champions in both leagues will be defending their championships this cycle.

This cycle we have the New Year’s Revolution tour. Again, there will be 10 cards and over 50 matches. This will mark the last COH card for GNL. As I mentioned, I have a good relationship with some talent and others I can completely do without. I would say there are less then 10 main event talents on that roster and the rest lower mid-card. Look at the numbers boys, figure out the trends, basically figure it out.

CSL is almost at a state of relaunch. We had new talent signed last cycle, possible new talent coming in over the next few cycles so I’m excited to see what happens. I’m actually going to give GNL’s spot in the upcoming Fighting Spirit tournament, which will have all the information about this event a little further in the report. This could be the turn around the league needs.

HWL and HLL keep plugging along and are battling for that top spot in COH. Both have huge matches coming up in the next few cycles so I’m curious to see how talent reacts to what’s coming. Then there’s VUL, the women’s league that keeps on plugging along. I’m hoping the drop in value of the points doesn’t affect the league. I think the change in points was a stupid move about 15 years too late, yet no one is complaining so who knows. But either way OH continues on and looks to be the most competitive touring brand in the iron Federation. This cycle we start the new year with the New Year’s Revolution! Here’s what’s booked-

**King Dingaling looks to make his 2nd defense since winning the championship. Apprehensive guardian isn’t a regular on the title page but has picked up a couple COH wins. He’s someone who

could be a champion sooner rather than later.

**I’m giving Sheik and Ace the benefit of the doubt and going to allow them to defend their championships this cycle. Both won the championships at Final Battle but were both inactive. They were also

inactive the previous cycle as well. If by chance they retain and are still inactive then they will be stripped of the championships. If they win

and are active, it would actually be what’s best of r business for COH. We shall see what happens with this.

**Neither of the CSL Champions made the COH rankings this cycle due to the recent inactivity. It’s a shame as Sheik was on a decent run

and was featured in the main event for CSL’s Final Battle. Ace has been plagued by inactiveness a majority of his CSL career and I’m

hoping things can turn around for him, as he’s a great talent

He handpicked Drake as his opponent so this cycle one more time we see the big man in the

ring before he enters the IWA Hall of Fame next cycle.

**Our main event features an angry Hooded Inmate who feels like he deserves the next hero title shot. Then we have CM Punk who was champion for close to a year and a half and has been waiting for his rematch. So the winner of this match will receive the title

shot next cycle at Capitol Combat.

And that is the New Year’s Revolution tour, 11 cards and over 50 matches of COH action. It’s bitter sweet as it’s a new year but the end of the GNL/COH collaboration. But it does feature somewhat of a relaunch for CSL and the evolution of BOL into a major player in COH. I have to say I like this tour a lot and see the potential of future bookings it plants the seed for!

The 2nd cycle of 2020 will begin Black Ops v Generation Next. Sixteen wrestlers from each league competing in the first COH Fighting Spirit Tournament. $500,000 and a contract to face either the GNL World or Black Ops Champion.

AROUND THE NETWORK

**Black Mass will receive a shot at the ICW World Tag Team Championship the 2nd cycle of 2020 (Capitol Combat tour).

**As I mentioned earlier, BOL's Seabee WC Reinhard Sr will be challenging for the ICW World Championship this coming cycle. From there I'll be setting up a contender’s series for the next shot. Four from each league and set up a mini-contenders series to determine the league rep-

Figured I'd dust off the ol' bullseye and bring back the COH Target in 2020. Pretty simple, sign a match against the Target wrestler and win by the most and you win $25,000. If the Target Wrestler goes undefeated they wins the $25k. Matches must be marked TARGET.

**Going forward, the ICW World Tag and Main Event will be defended every 3 cycles, ICW World and National every 3-4. If you are a Champion and inactive 2 cycles you will be stripped and a match to determine the new Champion will be set that cycle, this will go for all COH Championships as well. Only reason I didn’t do this with the ICW World Championship this cycle was because a match is set.

**Just a reminder, next cycle is the true start to the COH tournament season! BO< will begin the Sniper Championship tournament, CSL’s Americanrana, HLL’s Battle of Freelance, VUL’s Femme Fatale Fight, and HWL’s Tournament of havok. Each tournament will feature 8 wrestlers with $150k prizes and championship contracts. Each tournament will be posted on the facebook page a day or two after iron featuring the matches.

**The King of Iron is down to the finals this cycle. Either Zuesilla or Amalgam will be a million dollars richer, will receive a $12 match deal, and a contract to face the ICW World Champion

**Iron god update- This cycle wraps up RD 1. With the GNL departure from COH, I’ll have to reconfigure the next round. Look for the 2nd round update on Wednesday.

**Working agreements- I more or less have the interfed with Jade’s DXL done. Still no work on the Brotherhood of The Wolf deal so I’m guessing they went a different option. I’m going to looking into QPL and NPL and see if there is anything that I can work out for some of their talent to appear on ICW shows.

**JL6- it seems like the war with JL6 and VIRUS will continue. Hooded inmate had a convincing win over Drake at the PPV but it doesn’t seem like it will end there.me personally I would love to see this continue till mania cycle, another big match, maybe a stipulation. Seems like the possibilities are endless.

**CSL- I’m trying to build the league up as the past two closure notices haven’t sat well with me. I was told by the IWA before I can get any deals worked out we need to show that the league is active. I appreciate the new entries from COT and VIRUS. If you know anyone else that might want to join the league I can definitely off free transfers and will be giving out free battle royal entries , 2 BR entries per manager you get to enter the league. Either message me or inbox me on the fb page and I’ll take care of the rest.

**COH National Tag- I was told that after last cycle, the good brother’s would be vacating the National Tag titles. So next cycle we’ll have the Robinsons face the anarchy Veteran’s for the vacant titles

**PPV schedule- Mania cycle, Heatwave (end of summer), Bound For glory (October), Final Battle (December) Just wanted to make sure everyone was clear with that. I like naming the tours as you’ve seen over the past cycle or two but these are the big events for the year

BOL’s Firing Squad- This cycle we are part of the Black

Ops Tag Tournament. Owen’s and Fale look to make

history and become the first tag team champions. We have

Kenta and Kahagas in the Black ops Championship

tournament, one will finish the deal and leave champion.

The Firing Squad is here to prove just what we can do. We

want the competition and don’t care who we have to battle.

Whether its COT, VIRUS, IMT, whoever, one by one they all

fall down!

Drake- So hooded inmate, you won, you won somewhat dominantly and I’ll give

credit where its due, I underestimated you. But I’m glad you get it, I’m glas you

understand that one ppv win doesn’t end this. If that were the case the multiple

singles wins and the tag wins you don’t want to talk about would have ended this

before it started. Yeah we’ll admit you had a good cycle, our cycle wasn’t up to par but

just about every cycle we have a good one so keep it up because this is far from over.

Now I look at JL6 and I know I need to beat you all to get back to you Inmate, and I’ll

do just that. This cycle it’s Snitch, next cycle we’ll see who next to take the pin.

Drake Douglas- GNL, honestly a group of managers who think who they are. Those managers screwed an

opportunity up to be part of COH. Besides myself, 3 managers in the league (2 COT 1 VIRUS) carried the

league, we were the top feuds. The rest of the managers, lower mid card at best and that’s why the league is

in the state that its in. 17 cards, no trash talk in a ppv cycle, lame for you gold fed light wannabes. So COH

officially pulled out of GNL and there’s a good chance that Drake Douglas and the Good brother’s will follow

but we’ll think about it. Until then, silence is golden and we’ll talk when we want.
