Why Persistency is very important ?

To company:Because of insurance business characteristic, first year

expense is more than first year premium income of a new business policy

◆If there is no renewal premium income, then insurance

company will lose money when they sell a new business

policy

The persistency is related to profit and loss of insurance

company directly
