THE MATRIXSummary (taken from Imdb)Thomas A. Anderson is a man living two lives. By day he is an normal computer programmer and by night a hacker known as Neo. Neo has always questioned his reality, but the truth is far beyond his imagination. Neo finds himself targeted by the police when he is contacted by Morpheus. Morpheus informs Neo that the year is not 1999, but estimated to be closer to 2199, and that humanity is fighting a war against intelligent machines created in the early 21st century. The sky is covered by thick black clouds created by the humans in an attempt to cut off the machines' supply of solar power. The machines responded by using human beings as their energy source, later growing countless people in pods and harvesting their bioelectrical energy and body heat. All the people imprisoned are put into a reality world called the Matrix

What is the Matrix?The world which Neo has been living in since birth is the Matrix, an illusory simulated reality construct of the world when it was in 1999 developed by the machines to keep the human population imprisoned in their captivity. Morpheus and his crew are a group of free humans who "unplug" others from the Matrix and recruit them to their resistance against the machines. Within the Matrix, they are able to use their understanding of its nature to bend the laws of physics within the simulation, giving them superhuman abilities.

The genreThe Matrix is classified as a action, adventure and Sci-fi movie. It fits these genres because it got the requirements and qualities of a action-adventure movie and got the tools, weapons and world of a sci-fi movie. Its a Sci-fi movie because it involves a future with technology in advance of anything we have now, and that technology played an important part in the story. Its also a adventure movie because the main character is willing to undertake or seek out new and daring enterprises.

This is the “codes” that are used in The world of Matrix. On that code they can upload and download data to their own brain e.g. You cant pilot a plane, a operator is going to upload the piloting to your brain which automatically lets you fly the plane.

The genreInception is in the genre of action and adventure, but others think its classified as a sci-fi movie as well because they use supernatural. Inception is a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream, so it actually have some qualities of a sci-fi, but its still not classified as one. It have the qualities of a action-adventure movie because the main character takes on a impossible mission to protect and willingly face death to defend a personal code of honour(his children) that he think is valuable. The surroundings are open and available for action beyond everyday experience. The movie has been filmed under a long time, so it didn't take place in one or two nights but more which seemed to be like years. The main character was willing to die for his children which gives this movie a 4th reason on why its a action-adventure movie.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES

Summary (take from imdb)Jack Sparrow rushed his way into a London prison to rescue his first mate Gibbs from a public hanging. Next thing Jack knows, he is in King George’s palace. Barbossa now a “privateer” sailing for the British monarch (was a pirate in the first movie of Pirates of the Caribbean) , is also there. King George wants the pair to be the first to beat the Spaniards to Ponce de Leon’s legendary Fountain of Youth. Jack escapes from the palace and are trying to find out about the rumours that said, the he is here in London to recruit a crew, which of course wasn't true. Later he gets to know that Angelica, a old lover who have left behind, had taken his identity to try and find the real Jack Sparrow. She offers him a place at her ship as the navigator to the fountain of youth, but he refused. Instead, Jack finds himself a minion on Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge, which just so happens to have an old flame of Jack’s (Angelica). Angelica who had lied to Blackbeard about that she was the long lost daughter he never found. Blackbeard believed it which made her the captains daughter (vice captain). The Spaniards, Brits and Blackbeard are off to the races. The question is not: Who will make it to the Fountain of Youth first? The question is: Who will find the two silver chalices and collect a mermaid’s tear before the others?

Its classified as a action-adventure because the main characters embark on a impossible mission to defend a personal code of honour that the society shares as a value. A fantasy is often a unrealistic settings, or magic, often set in a medieval universe, or possibly involving mythical beings or supernatural forms as a primary element of the plot, theme, or setting, that's why the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a fantasy movie.Its also a comedy because the main character uses funny signs and also have a funny way of speaking which usually makes people the people around him angry, but even though everyone seems to hunt him, he gets away with practically anything, but is still held guilty by the audience.

Trench (knows as The Terminator) is a rival of the Expendables, Mr. Church of CIA, Booker (known as Chuck Norris) of "The Lone Wolf" legendary soldier, participate in the war as a reinforcement. A fight to burn the hostiles have started. The GenreThe Expendables 2 is a action and thriller movie, that is following part of The Expendables. It is a thriller because the sudden rush of emotions and the excitement sense of suspense, apprehension and exhilaration drives the team to seek revenge for their fallen soldier, but its also is mostly through skilful plotting. Its a action movie because the main character usually takes a bunch of life-threatening risks to solve the present problem, whether it's external or internal. He even faces death and risks his life to accomplish the goal he is aiming for .
