I spent a while trying to find different fonts for my front cover (especially my splash) that would stand out, after experimenting for a while with different effects I opted to go with a drop shadow as i thought i came out to the viewer and just looked a lot bigger and bolder.

Here are the settings I used to create he drop shadow effect.

I used the gradient tool to create this shape and then filled in the circular shape to fill in the mod colours to fit into my house style, I spent a while positioning the target as I had to get it so you could see all areas of the target and also the feature artist in front of the gradient shape. These were the settings I used for the shape and the colour contrasts that I chose for the gradient.

I spent quite a while trying to edit this image as originally the picture came out a pink colour which i could not use as it did not fit in with my house style, so i had to go in to the image and edit the colour of the jacket without trying to make the colour of his skin look out of place, I did this by using the eyedropper tool to get the right colour and place it onto the picture.3

I also did spent quite a while with the main positioning of my main image which i had to change since the first draft of my piece, of the first draft it looked very formal and plain which was the effect i did not want to give to the audience, so I changed this by enlarging the main image to make it the centre of attention and re-positioning all of my columns and the quote I used.
