TTrust x RRespect = IImpact Trust (your word / track record / giver or taker / share / how you are) Respect (smarts / job knowledge / past successes / what you know) Impact (influence / change agent / will they use you) % x % (50% x 50% =25%) You have one for every relationship (like signal strength on cell) In fact even new relationships have them (safety / perception) Relationships grow over time (some of your best ones you have) Each person is different…know what helps / hurts each one Look for ways to accelerate the growth Use the formula as a discussion point…gets you on the same side It takes time / effort…focus on your key levers first Your folks can play a role in increasing your T

5 Levels of Delegation

Delegation Approaches Delegation is a basic leader multiplier (Exodus 18) Activity increases to delegatee as you move up Almost always start at level 3 (or safe level) Goal is to focus on moving to higher levels…though

sometimes you need to drop a level A person can have different levels for different activities A BDA (before / during / after) list helps in many ways Communicate expectations (outcomes) not activities

(tactics) Be clear with level, support and expectations Speak in terms of the model ( “you are a level 4 here” ) Follow-up builds support, accountability

and recognition (celebrate!)

Matthew 25 Cards• Give’m to any ministry leader… often!• Be specific on what you are recognizing (vision,

values, roadmap, Blast, etc.)• It truly is better to give than receive• Carry them with you to complete during those

“slow” moments• Give them to the person or place them in their

mail slot (what a great surprise)• Bring the one’s you have received to the Staff or

MLT meeting to be a part of the raffle • If you don’t get a card it doesn‘t mean you aren’t

appreciated. It takes awhile to get the habit started

• Centerpoint is so blessed to have such passionate leaders bringing His vision to life

Thx for bringing

so many people to

the Easter services &

giving us strength to

show your love to all
