This interface is familiar to most children with home PCs and is likely to be the same interface they use when they move to a Secondary school.My Computer area is limited to N drive which is the users secure home area, and the shared drive, they do not get access to the local c:/ drive so are unable to access important system files which should improve system reliability. Staff users will in addition get access to a Staff shared driveControl Panel access is limited to all but administrators, the level of access is determined by the user type and access will only be too key elements to focus the children on task in hand rather than them being able to change irrelevant station settings.Printers children have access to cancel their own print jobs, staff can manage the printer queue for the whole class.Icons for Learning Resources and RM Explorer 2 on desktop (optional, can be taken off in configuration settings)

Here you can see an attendance recording page presented seamlessly with the LP. Therell be no re-authentication necessary, except where you deem it to be necessary for extra protection on sensitive areas. Youve already seen the kind of desktop pages which the MIS can produce these will all be accessible from the LP and the MIS data can be seen in context next to any VLE type data as a single and consistent version of the truth!*******
