PANHARD BAR LENGTH

We are often asked what panhard bar length should be used and in what situation. Although the answer to this question depends on many factors in-cluding driver preference the following should help.

19”- (R.S. Holes on frame mount)Short track -tight cornersStop & Go corners

21” - (Center holes on frame mount)Standard position - average trackSwooping corners

23” - (L.S. Holes on frame mount)Very rough track - Very heavy trackExtreme situations only

It is very common for racers to carry 2 different length panhard bars (19” & 21”) in order to tune for different tracks / conditions and also to have a spare.

We have just recently completed testing of a new spindle. It utilizes ackerman adjustable steering arms. As we gather new information and make updates these spindles can be easily tuned to the new specifications. We tell you exactly where to put the arms to eliminate any guess work. The current specs enhance ”scotch “ on counter steer without compromising overall “feel”. The numbers are 40397A left side and 40398A right side. Cost is $ 189.95 each

ADJUSTABLE SPINDLES

One of the ongoing challenges in dirt racing is sticking the Right Rear tire (Commonly called “Scotch”) without overly tightening the car. In an effort to improve this situation we are pleased to announce the release of our Rear Under-Slung kit. This kit is specially designed to reduce right rear chassis flex in order to improve side bite. 99% of the kit is bolted on and requires only about 5 minutes of welding, all hardware is included. The list price is $ 499.00 but we are offering it for a limited time at an introductory price of $ 399.00

A-ARM SLIDERS

Many racers fail to recognize the benefits of different front end packages. Many of our long time customers will know that we sometimes use different A-arm slider posi-tions to create a different balance and feel in the race car. This changes the front roll center, instant center, and roll axis. This can be a huge help for different track sizes, track configurations and driver preference. These changes can be easily and quickly made using our exclusive A-Arm Slider system. To make that adjustment even faster & easier we now offer a 2 position A-Arm slider bracket. A set of 4 costs only $ 222.80
