Established in 1919, Lazer, with headquarters in Belgium, designs, manufactures and markets bicycle, leisure, and action sports helmets in more than 60 countries, over 5 continents. Over the years Lazer helmets have been worn by some of the greatest cycling champions the world has ever seen!

With a proven sales record, world-wide patents and the touch of Lazer Research & Develop-

ment Team, the Lazer Rollsys® system is a game changer that has been adapted to snow

helmets. Featured on almost all of the Lazer collection you are sure to find the best fit.

Compared to standard fit systems, the Lazer Rollsys® system is fully integrated into the helmet

and completely surrounds the head. By turning a smooth thumb wheel – situated on top of the

helmet – the Rollsys® system permits an accurate and progressive peripheral sizing adjust-

ment. The fit of the helmet will symmetrically be tightened without any pressure points on the

head.

The Rollsys® system offers an innovative one hand use and is easy to handle even with gloves

on.

Each Lazer helmet size will fit a wider range of customers. Why? With the progressive periph-

eral sizing of the Rollsys® system, varying head shapes can all still fit into the correct size.

With other helmets, that difference will cause many to buy a helmet that is larger than needed

– creating a poor fit and large profile.

Snowsport helmets have the unique challenge of both retaining sensible heat, and dissipating

latent heat depending upon the weather and level of activity. This diverse spectrum necessi-

tates the proper testing and design of all products so the correct amount of airflow is main-

tained around the head in all conditions.

To ensure that each Lazer helmet is properly designed, Lazer ventilation manager, Guido

DeBruyne, Ph.D., tested helmets in the wind tunnel at the prestigious Katholieke Universiteit

Leuven (K.U.Leuven). After repeated tests on a wide range of snow helmets, we were able to

identify the ideal range of comfort, for a variety of conditions, and design the vents so that

this can be maintained even as output changes. This is our science, and the level of innovation

that we put into every Lazer helmet.

aDapt Vent™

In order to achieve the correct pressure difference to move the right amount of air across

the head, each vent must have an intake and an outlet. Any disruption of this symmetry

compromises the ability of the helmet to properly ventilate. So the key to ventilation is not

the number of vents you have (in fact, too many vents can have negative consequences) but

the arrangement and balance of these vents on the helmet. This symmetry and design of the

intake and outlet vents is exclusively applied through Lazer’s IN|OUT™Design.

Since snowsport helmets must retain and lose heat depending upon your effort, Lazer helmets

are designed to adapt with the conditions. Over half of the products include vents that can be

adjusted to properly mix the weather conditions with your output.

At Lazer, we recognize that goggles and helmets have a symbiotic, not monogamous, relation-

ship. This is why each Lazer helmet is designed to work with multiple partners so you do not

have to be married to only one goggle brand.

array of goggles from a variety of suppliers. The interaction of goggle and helmet ensures that

both products perform at their best level so you can too.

It is simple and works with the earbuds you already own so that you can quickly be wired for

audio. Simply hook the right and left cord to the Wired Audio™ hooks already installed on

your earpads and you’re ready to go. Plus, there is an optional pouch to slide the microphone/

controller into so that there is no more fumbling in your jacket.¹
