31 DE MAYO DEL 2015 La Santísima Trinidad En la lectura del Deuteronomio, Moisés pro-clama la grandeza de Dios y que no hay otro. El tema de la Trinidad —tres personas en un Dios— conecta la Segunda Lectura de hoy con el Evangelio. Según San Pablo, es por el Espíritu que disfrutamos de la nueva vida y nos hacemos hijas e hijos adoptivos y herederos por medio de Cristo. En el Evangelio de San Mateo, Jesús comisiona a los Apóstoles que vayan y hagan discípulos de todas las naciones, bau-tizándoles en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo. Nosotros, como corresponsables fieles, reconocemos nuestro llamado bautismal al discipulado en el Señor. Inspirados por la Santísima Trinidad, llevamos a cabo este dis-cipulado al compartir nuestro tiempo, talento y tesoro para construir nuestra comunidad parro-quial —para construir el reino de Dios.

In the reading from Deuteronomy, Moses proclaims the greatness of God and that there is no other. The Trinity theme — three persons in one God — links today’s Second Reading and the Gospel. Accord-ing to St. Paul, it is by the Spirit that we enjoy new life and become adopted chil-dren and heirs through Christ. In St. Mat-thew’s Gospel, Jesus commissions the Apostles to go out and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We, as faithful stewards, acknowledge our baptismal call to discipleship in the Lord. Inspired by the Holy Trinity, we act out this discipleship through our sharing of time, talent, and treasure to build up our parish community — to build up the kingdom of God.

White Elephant Sale the weekends of June 5-7 and 12-14. Start sorting the items you want to donate for the sale. Items that are being donated can be dropped off during the week and on weekends starting immediately. We cannot accept computers, large appliances like refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers because of weight and size. We are looking for “gently” used clothing, childrens’clothing, shoes, household items, books, all holiday items, reli-gious items, dishes, pottery, small appliances, glassware, cookware. There will be a “boutique” area where the “best of the best “ will be displayed.
