    Ladde r Ope rands such as Inputs , Output s etc can be view ed b y clicking the Arrow onthe r ight side of the w indow.

    To select th e N O conta ct of Digital Input , place t he cursor on I1 an d select I1

    M ove the Cursor on the desired posit ion and Press the Left Click of t he M ouse

    This is the w ay N O contact can be placed on t he ladde r. To place the NC contact, rep eatthe sam e procedure. Right Cl ick on the NO contact an d select N C Contact.

    Contacts can be nam ed by w ri t ing the Text in the Com m ents. Here I1 is nam ed as PushButton as show n.

    To add the Out put Coi l, Cl ick on O/ P Sym bol

    Select Out put Coil . Here Q 1 is selected .

    M ove the Cursor on the desired posit ion and press the Li ft Cl ick of t he M ouse

    This is the w ay Ou tpu t Coil is add ed in t he Ladder.

    Output can be nam ed by w r it ing the Text in the Comm ents. Here output Q 1 is nam edas M o to r 1

    To select the Auxil iary coils (M coils) , Click on t he sym bol AU X and select a coil . HereM 1 is selected. The coi l is nam ed by w ri t ing the Text in th e com m ents.To add th e coil, cl ick on th e coil and m ove t he Cursor to th e de sired position a nd Pre ss

    the left cl ick of the m ouse.

    Thus M 1 coi l is nam ed as Aux Coi l 1 and placed in the ladder as show n.

    Once the ladde r program is w ri tten, it can be te sted w ithout connecting to th e de vice.

    This is how th e Sim ulate d Ladd er Program looks l ike.At the bo ttom of the screen t here is a Simu late I / O W indow. The Input Condit ions can beSim ulated by Clicking o n Check b oxes.

    Exam ple : Inputs I3, I4, I5 are selected. As per the logic w ri tten the O utpu ts Q3, Q4 an dU1 an d ON

    To Stop t he Simu lation, Click on the STOPFor Ladd er Program tran sfer relate d opt ions, Click on Transfer / ProgramProgram can be :1 . Dow nloaded f rom PC (LSof t ) to Devi ce.2. Up loaded from Device to PC (LSoft)

    To see t he Clock Set tin gs ( RTC Sett ings ) Click o n D ev ice Clock.These are the sett ing options for t he Device Clock.Once the p rogram is transferred to the d evice, the de vice w i ll be in Stop M ode.

    Start (Run) / Stop of the de vice can be done from this option.

    Device Simu lator is the option in w hich Sim ulation is done w ith a pictorial view ofElectrically conne cted De vice.This is how De vice Sim ulator looks like.

    Inpu t Conditions can be sim ulated b y Clicking on th e Inpu t contacts as show n in the

    picture ab ove.
