KioWare for Android Now Available for Phones

• KioWare for Android is now available for deployment on smaller screened mobile devices including smart phones and smaller tablets, in addition to the already supported traditional and oversized tablet and touch screen devices.

• The same installation files and configuration settings can be used, and KioWare for Android now functions fully with a wide range of small and large display screens.

Key Features: Battery Management, Google Drive

Version 3.3 of KioWare for Android improves battery management via configuration options that can be set to significantly extend battery life.

New feature of KioWare for Android allows for integration with Google Drive. This feature gives the ability to easily import and export your XML file settings to and from Google Drive for simple updating, posting, & sharing of an XML file. Now integrated into the KioWare Configuration tool for easy setup.

Key Features: Port using Chromecast, View PDF’s

KioWare for Android (Full with Server) provides the ability to port content using Google’s Chromecast. This feature allows for simple configuration of digital signage with an inexpensive Google Chromecast and your Android tablet.

A local file “download” option in the configuration tool has been added. KioWare for Android can now be configured to allow users to view PDFs and other files that are saved locally.

Key Features: Single App Mode, Restrict Browser Access

• KioWare for Android can be configured to lock your device into Single Application Mode, allowing only the application or applications you have “allowed” to run.

• KioWare for Android can also be configured to allow only the web pages and destinations you have set as “allowed” or block specific pages that have been set as “restricted”.

KioWare Kiosk Full with Server for Android also supports Push notifications when utilized with KioWare Server Version 4.8.4.
