Why are people able to be successful in America?
Capitalism allows people to set up their own businesses. This is a risk – but if you can succeed you can be very successful e.g Apple / Gap / Bill Gates
America has a capitalist system. If you are
willing to work hard you can will be rewarded
with success. ( American dream)
In America taxes are low so people are able to keep the majority of their profits. This means they have a good income.
This lets them afford good education at school and college which enables them to get a good job.
Hard work is rewarded. You can start in a low paid job such as cleaning and work hard to get better jobs which pay more.
