In addition, there is a fully funded joint training course on offer for managers and representatives from any organisation, aimed at helping to establish a shared perspective towards health and safety management.

Through Premier Partnership, a third party training provider, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) provided subsidised training on basic knowledge of health and safety management and ‘soft’ people skills (negotiating, persuasion etc.) to allow course attendees to affect change in their own workplaces.

The HSE approached 3d Marketing Group to devise, implement and run a lead generation campaign to get the required 2400 attendees to be confirmed for the series of seminars on this topic.

The HSE wanted to run a series of seminars entitled “Safe and Sound at Work – Do your bit” this was a worker involvement campaign which would run for a year in total and was aimed at both workers and employees in non-unionised Small and Medium sized enterprises (SME) within the construction, manufacturing, and transport/ storage sectors.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has a mission to prevent death, injury and ill health in Great Britain’s workplaces. One of the methods the HSE uses is to run several education programmes to help businesses understand the risks.

Phase 2 of the campaign needed to ensure that the HSE had 2,400 new HSE representatives in non-unionised SME’s with the necessary training and support to help them make a real difference.

3d Marketing also provided an on-going support function through an Info line in addition to this our agents took the bookings and payments for their courses via the website and phone calls.

3d Marketing Group devised a lead generation campaign that would run on a 12 month basis. The aim was to contact 25,000 Health and Safety decision makers who would be interested in the courses. The initial campaign started with a trade press advert and a dedicated website.

The HSE were extremely happy with the campaign and they had to put on more seminars as the campaign gained great momentum.

3d Marketing Group was the outsourced marketing team for the HSE, ensuring the seminars were full, sending out marketing collateral and joining instruction and giving advice over the infoinformation line.

In addition to the building the database and the lead generation campaign 3d Marketing Group went through a multiple call process to ensure that all of the seminars were fully attended and drop outs were replaced by attendees on the waiting list.

3d Marketing Group had a team of 10 people dedicated solidly to the HSE campaign. This included over a quarter of a million people being called over a 5 month period. This generated and built up a bespoke database for the HSE of 25,000 HSE decision makers.
