We are Global Greeters at UVA and we are so excited to have you join us for orientation week. As you settle into your new home in Charlottesville, we, along with the International Studies Office, are here to help you transition to life in the Wahoo family.

In this brochure, you’ll find activities that Global Greeters have organized in preparation for your arrival. We hope to see you at many of our events!

Take the University bus (UTS) to Barracks Road Shopping Center and get your dorm supplies. Global Greeters will be here to help you familiarize yourself with the bus system and shopping!

There will be Global Greeters at the Chapel Bus Stop for the 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm Northline buses that run from Central Grounds to Barracks Road Shopping Center.

from a variety of organizations. This is a great opportunity to interact with faculty on a casual basis,

familiarize yourself with the academic life at UVA before classes start, and learn how you can get involved at UVA.
