From the Statutory Manager

While 'behind scenes' activity is often not obvious activity there is, as I have previously advised,a great deal happening with regard to the ongoing review of the school's governance andmanagement. This, as you are aware, has come about as a result of last year's ERO report thathighlighted certain areas that require review.

Recently, the BOT Chair and I meet with the members of the 'new' Senior Leadership team andthe feedback received was very positive with the general consensus being that 'upward anddownward' communications have improved markedly, and that individual functions andresponsibilities are working well within the new team environment.

ERO are continuing to take a positive interest in the school and, in this regard,Russell Wallace has been appointed to assist and advise where necessary on our progresstowards meeting the objectives and recommendations that were highlighted in the ERO report.
