FACTS AND FIGURES << THE ROCKETS << Chapel Rock’s retiree group for men and women, the Rockets, will hold their next monthly meeting on Thursday, July 11 in the Parlor. The pitch-in luncheon begins at 11:30 AM. The group will be entertained by Dean Jones playing Cow Bells. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for a delicious meal and an enjoyable and entertaining program. SPIRITUAL SIMPLICITY COURSE << NEW DIVORCE CARE COURSE << The NEW DivorceCare goes deeper into the lives of people who have lived through seperation and divorce. You wIll hear their pain, their challenges and their path to healing. For the first time ever DivorceCare will include scripted drama featuring professional actors. They are short but powerful and will help you grasp and apply the most imporrtant Divorce related concepts taught in the videos. Our next DivorceCare Class starts on Sunday, August 18, and will take place in the Conference Room just east of the Foyer, from 9:00 -10:30 AM. For more information please call (317) 293-5464. The Rapha Yard Sale will be in the Covenant Christian High School parking lot, and you may bring your donated items the evening of July 19. Pick-up can also be arranged by calling (317) 985-4726. Donations will be tax deductible, and receipts will be available. The Family Focus Class invites anyone who is not a part of a morning class to join us in our eight week study, “Spiritual Simplicity” by Chip Ingram. We’re learning how to bring Christ’s love to each area of our lives simply and with abandon. We meet at 9:15 in Room ED 07. It is said that worship washes away the dust from our souls. You can be part of the upcoming October 4 Night of Praise in three ways: 1) be in attendance 2) be part of the prayer team (contact [email protected] ) 3) be part of the expanded Worship Choir (only four rehearsals). Music packets, listening CDs, and the rehearsal schedule are available now at the Welcome Center. If you enjoy singing but are unable to commit to year-round choir, this is a great opportunity for you. Our first rehearsal is Sunday, August 11. Pick up your packet today.

FAMILY XP<<INDIANS - FAITH & FELLOWSHIP<<The annual Indianapolis Indians Faith & Fellowship Night is Saturday, August 3 and Chapel Rock has 30 reserved seats! The $8 tickets (normally $11) will be on a first-come, first-served basis on July 7, 14, and 21 and must be paid for at the time you sign up. Game time is 7:05 PM; with gates opening at 5:30 PM. There will be a pre-game Christian concert and the entertainment for the evening will be the Zooperstars! To obtain additional details and purchase tickets, visit the Information Center in the Foyer.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY<<The Thursday night men’s study will continue the series using Max Lucado’s Life Lessons study guide on the book of James. If you’re already a part of this evening, encourage men seeking a small evening group study to join us. We meet every Thursday from 7:00-8:30 PM in Connection Corner.

PASTOR’S BIBLE STUDY FOR MEN <<The monthly men’s Bible study and breakfast will be held Saturday, July 6 in the Parlor. Please enter door 12. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 AM. Following breakfast Pastor Fred Rodkey presents a devotion that will challenge men in their daily lives.

When life seems hopeless, read the end of the story. The 2013 North American Christian Convention theme is Victorious the message of Revelation, July 9-12 in Louisville, KY. Visit the Information Center to pick up a brochure/registration form. The convention is almost in our backyard; you can choose to go for the day or stay and attend each event.
