Which category are you entering?

[ ] 1. Changing rivers. A documentary set of up to 4 photos, to show how our relationship with freshwater is changing. ( This theme is human use of and impacts on water, rural or urban, including farming, forestry, other industries, recreation, utilities, etc… )

[ ] 2. A place for wildlife. Birds, plants, fish and insects – what makes the natural life in and around rivers and streams distinctive? (Your perspective might be an angler, a bird-watcher, a botanist, stock farmer or a hunter, a riverside cyclist or a scientist studying detail: each person sees the natural world differently…) Max of four images.

[ ] 3. Beauty and delight in water. Light on water will sparkle, offer reflections, show patterns from filtered sunshine and shadows, the banks offer autumn tints of colour. Seek artistic, perhaps abstract, images made possible by the river or stream location. Max four images.

[ ] 4. Moving images –using digital video, in a category also ticked above. Movement is hard to capture in still shots, so if a video (max 3 minutes) tells your story better or reveals wildlife or shows artistry, do use that medium!
