The competition is open to nal year students from Northern Art Schools.

The work entered needs to be created by the students and then collated

by the tutor from the university / college and submitted with each entry

individually marked up with the Students Name / Entry Form / Title of thePiece & Art School. Students can enter more then one entry.

Once the piece has been entered it will be judged independently (by

leading gures from the illustration, art and agency worlds), who aim to

select 150 pieces which will feature in an exhibition at Mr Thomas’s Chop

House in Manchester, where they will be for sale over Summer 2013.

25 pieces will be shortlisted for the Awards Night and will be auctioned at

a Gala Dinner at Mr Thomas’s Chop House on Thursday 11th July 2013.

The sole beneciaries will be the students themselves and our designatedcharity, the North West Air Ambulance.

Student should submit originals / or a unique artist proof plus 3 well

produced limited edition copies that are signed and numbered. The entry

must be supplied mounted to the sizes specied below and supplied

unframed.(Experience tells us that original or unique works are highly sought after. Individually

nished editions or artist’s proofs are also seen to be more valuable. And the quality

of paper and the way in which each picture is mounted can have a signicant effect

on not only the judging outcome but also the commercial saleability of the piece when

exhibited.)

Each entry will be framed. The frame sizes used are A3 & A2. We strongly

advise you mount your entry so that it creates a unique piece of art rather

then using the standard mount supplied with the frame.

• An A3 frame mount area can be a maximum size of

(w) 385mm x (h) 485mm. Please use this as a guide.

• An A2 frame size mount area can be a maximum size of

(w) 485mm x (h) 685mm. Please use this as a guide.

A digital version of your entry should be supplied to promote your

work in the exhibition. We require a high res (1-2 mb) and a low res

(less then 500 kb) in jpeg format. Please supply the images to

[email protected] clearly labelled with your Full Name, Title of

the Entry & Art School.

All entries will be collected by a TNT Account that has been specically

set up for Unleashed 2013. The tutor should collate all their student

entries and supply in one delivery.
