SCHOOL RESUMES FOR STUDENTS IN 2016 :
Years 1 - 6 Thursday 28th January
Kindergarten Monday 1st February
Glenn Sansom
Principal
As this is the last Husky Star for the year I would like to
wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new
year. Return safe and sound for another fantastic year at
Huskisson Public School.
Our achievements this year have been many and in a large
part are due to the great partnership the staff and parents
share. I’d like to thank everyone in our school community
that has supported the school to enrich the learning of our
students.
YEAR 6 FAREWELL
What a fantastic evening we had at the Year 6 Farewell.
The students enjoyed themselves immensely throughout the
night. Their behaviour equalled that of a mature young
adult. In my speech I wished them well at high school
asking them to be ambassadors for themselves, their family
and their high school. My parting words were Stay Strong,
Stay Smart. The Year 6 also listened to Mitchell Cross
brother of Maddie. Mitchell has just finished Year 12. He
urged them to enjoy high school and all that it has to offer.
MONSTER TRUCK COMPETITION WINNER
Congratulations to Jackson from Kindergarten who was a
competition winner in the Monster Truck Competition.
Jackson won a swag of prizes including monster hat, DVD,
blow up ball and transfer.
BEST DECORATED DOOR COMPETITION.
Each class in the school has been enjoying the festive
season by participating in the ‘Best Decorated Door’
competition. Our office lady also joined in the fun. The
eventual winner was our seniors - class 5/6. It was very
hotly contested. Check out the pictures of all our entrants.
FRIDAY’S DISCO
What an enjoyable evening and successful fundraiser the
disco proved to be last Friday night. I’m going to let the
pictures tell the story.
P.S $1200 was raised. Well done everyone - special
mention to all that helped organise the event and
volunteered their time on the night.
PRESENTATION ASSEMBLY
Looking forward to seeing everyone at our annual Presen-
tation assembly where we acknowledge and celebrate the
achievements of many students.
NO TINNED FOOD
FOR STUDENTS LUNCHES OR RECESS.
Please remove food from tins and put into a
plastic container before sending to school with
your child.
The lid of the tin is very dangerous and children
can easily cut themselves.
