I have include some adjective word mats to give you some ideas about different adjectives you could use in your writing.
I have given a few different levels of examples. The children loved being exposed to more complex vocabulary and sometimes it is fun to learn new words! You could pick one word from mat 2 or 3 as a challenge word. Learn what it means and have
a go using it in a sentence.

Naomi Noun told me how brilliant you were at finding nouns in your story. Now create some amazing descriptions by adding two or more adjectives to a noun in a sentence.
![Page 35: English Lesson Tuesday 21st April 2020](https://reader033.vdocuments.us/reader033/viewer/2022061101/629afc37be5ba606b85b9f7c/html5/thumbnails/35.jpg)
Task 2: Write 6 descriptive sentences!
• Pick 6 nouns you found in the story. • Write a simple sentence with an adjective to describe your noun.
For example: Level 1: Pretty princess. Green Frog. Happy boy. Level 2: The pretty princess wanted a ball.Level 3: The beautiful and confident princess wanted a ball. Level 4: The beautiful and confident princess wanted a gleaming gold ball.
Can you put a circle or underline around the adjectives in your sentence?
