Liebe Leserinnen und Leser,

Das deutsche EORTC Liaison Office (LO) an der Charité in Berlin begrüßt Sie und möchte Ihnen von den

neusten Entwicklungen in Deutschland und den Neuigkeiten aus dem EORTC Headquarter berichten.

Aktivitäten des deutschen Liaison Offices

Unser Fokus liegt seit dem Start des deutschen LO 2013 auf der Einreichung von EORTC Studien in

Deutschland und die Unterstützung der deutschen Prüfzentren bei der Durchführung von EORTC Studien.

Seit unserem letzten Newsletter im November 2017 konnten erfreulicherweise wieder einige Studien der

EORTC in Deutschland bei den Ethikkommissionen eingereicht und positiv bewertet werden.

Folgende neue Studien wurden bei den Ethikkommissionen eingereicht, die Voten stehen aber

noch aus:

EORTC Studie 1553 (SPECTArare:) Screening von Patienten mit seltenen Tumoren für

effizienten Zugang zu klinischen Prüfungen (Screening Patients with rare tumors for Efficient

Clinical Trial Access)

EORTC Studie 1414 (Degarelix): Randomisierte Phase-IIIb-Studie zum Vergleich von

Bestrahlung und langfristiger adjuvanter Androgendeprivation mit GnRH-Antagonisten im

Vergleich zu GnRH-Agonisten und Flare-up-Schutz bei Patienten mit lokalisiertem oder lokal

fortgeschrittenem Hochrisiko-Prostatakrebs. Eine gemeinsame Studie der EORTC ROG und der

EORTC GUCG. Pegasus

EORTC Studie 1308 (ROAM): Radiation versus Observation nach chirurgischer Resektion eines

Atypischen Meningeoms: eine randomisierte kontrollierte Phase III-Studie

EORTC 1560-GITCG (ILOC): Studie: Phase II Studie mit Immuntherapie plus lokaler Tumorablation bei

Patienten mit metastasierten kolorektalen Karzinomen. (Studienkoordinator: Theo Ruers, The Netherlands Cancer Institute-Antoni Van Leeuwenhoekziekenhuis,

Der Ansatz dieser Studie ist zu beurteilen ob die Kombination von lokaler Tumorablation/ Bestrahlung

plus immunmodulierenden Medikamenten ein signifikantes Ansprechen bei Patienten mit

metastasierten kolorektalen Karzinomen bewirkt.


EORTC German LO

EORTC Studie 1608-BTG (STEAM): Studie mit TG02 bei älteren Patienten mit anaplastischem

Astrozytom oder mit Glioblastoma multiforme

(Studienkoordinator: Emilie Le Rhun, CHRU de Lille, FR)

TG02 ist ein oraler multi Tyrosinkinase Inhibitor. Das Primärziel dieser Phase II Studie ist die

Untersuchung von Sicherheit, Verträglichkeit und der therapeutischen Wirksamkeit (objektive

response rate) von TG02 alleine und in Kombination mit RT oder TMZ bei älteren Patienten mit

anaplastischem Astrozytom oder mit Glioblastoma multiforme.

Für folgende Studien wurde seit November 2017 ein Amendment eingereicht und positiv

bewertet:

EORTC Studie 1301-LG (AML21): 10-Tage-Decitabin versus konventionelle Induktions-

Chemotherapie („3 +7“), gefolgt von Allo-Transplantation bei AML-Patienten ≥ 60 Jahre: eine

randomisierte Phase-III-Studie der EORTC Leukemia Group, CELG, GIMEMA und der Deutschen

MDS-Studiengruppe.

EORTC Studie 90101-NOCI (CREATE): Tumorübergreifende klinische Phase-2-Studie zur

Erforschung von Crizotinib (PF-02341066) bei Patienten mit Tumoren im fortgeschrittenen Stadium,

ausgelöst durch kausale Veränderungen der anaplastischen Lymphokinase (ALK) und/oder MET

(„CREATE“)

EORTC Studie 22114-40111-GITCG-ROG (TOP GEAR): Eine randomisierte Phase II/III-Studie

über eine präoperative Radiochemotherapie im Vergleich zu einer präoperativen Chemotherapie bei

resektablem Magenkarzinom.

Für folgende Studie steht das Ethikvotum zum Amendment noch aus:

EORTC Studie 1219-ROG-HNCG: Eine verblindete, randomisierte multizentrische Studie zur

akzelerierten, fraktionierten Radiochemotherapie mit oder ohne dem hypoxischen Radiosensibilisator

Nimorazol (Nimoral) unter Einsatz einer 15-Gen-Signatur für Hypoxie bei der Behandlung von

Plattenepithelkarzinomen im Kopf-Hals Bereich. Diese Studie wurde vorzeitig für die Rekrutierung

geschlossen.

EORTC Studie 1209-EnTG: (eine Phase-II-Studie über die Sicherheit und Wirksamkeit von

Nintedanib (BIBF1120) als Zweitlinientherapie zweiter Linie für Patienten mit entweder

differenziertem oder medullärem Schilddrüsenkrebs, der nach einer medikamentösen Vortherapie

fortschreitet)

Folgende Studien sind neu im Portfolio des deutschen Liaison Office:

EORTC Studie 1559-HNCG (UPSTREAM): Eine Pilotstudie mit einer Behandlungstrategie die auf

personalisierten Biomarkern basiert oder auf Immuntherapie bei Patienten mit rezidivierenden oder

metastasierenden Plattenepithelkarzinomen im Kopf/ Halsbereich.


EORTC German LO

(Studienkoordinator: Rachel Galot, Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, Brussels, BE)

Die Primärziele dieser Studie sind:

1. Die Wirksamkeit von zielgerichteten molekularen Medikamenten bei Patienten mit

unheilbaren wiederkehrenden oder metastasierten Kopf-und Halsplattenepithelkarzinomen bei

welchen vordefinierte Biomarker vorhanden sind, zu bewerten.

2. Die Wirksamkeit von Monalizumab bei Patienten mit unheilbaren wiederkehrenden oder

metastasierten Kopf-und Halsplattenepithelkarzinomen welche nicht mit anti-PD(L1)

vorbehandelt sind oder oder anti PD(L1) resistent sind, zu bewerten.

EORTC Studie 1525-LCG (NivoThym): Einarmige multizentrische Phase II Studie mit Nivolumab

bei Patienten mit Typ B3 Thyomen und thymischen Karzinomen, die kürzlich mit Chemotherapie

behandelt wurden.

Das Primärziel dieser Studie ist die Beurteilung der Wirksamkeit in dieser Studienpopulation in Bezug

EORTC QLG-GCG Survivorship Protokoll.

Was ist das Deutsche EORTC Liaison Office?

Deutschland ist seit vielen Jahren aktiv an der Durchführung klinischer Studien, und Patienten-rekrutierung,

für die EORTC beteiligt.

Als Antwort auf umfassende administrative und gesetzliche Forderungen haben die EORTC und das CCCC in

Berlin gemeinsam beschlossen, ein deutsches Liaison Office auf den Weg zu bringen, das die Zusammenarbeit

zwischen den Prüfzentren und der EORTC verbessern und die Aktivierung von klinischen Studien der EORTC

Wie kann ich an klinischen EORTC Studien teilnehmen?

Um an klinischen Studien bei der EORTC teilzunehmen, ist es erforderlich, Mitglied der EORTC und einer der

Organgruppen zu sein.

Welche Art von Unterstützung leistet das LO

Unterstützung von Prüfern bei der Beantragung der Mitgliedschaft in der EORTC

Eine Mitgliedschaft in der EORTC ermöglicht eine aktive Teilnahme in EORTC Studien und bei EORTC

Gruppentreffen, sowie Konferenzen und Fortbildungsveranstaltungen. Kandidaten können sich entweder direkt an das

Membership Committee ([email protected]) oder an die Einrichtungen der Gruppen (chairman or secretary)

wenden. Alle Informationen und Antragsformulare sind auch über das EORTC LO in Berlin erhältlich.

Karrieremöglichkeiten für junge Wissenschaftler

Die EORTC sucht immer junge, aktive talentierte Mitarbeiter, welche ihre Fähigkeiten unter der Betreuung der

EORTC weiterentwickeln möchten.

Dafür gibt es verschiedene Gelegenheiten. Eine Möglichkeit wäre z. B. im Rahmen von Stipendien für 1 bis 3 Jahre

verschiedene Arten von Daten zu generieren und zu analysieren und die Ergebnisse als wissenschaftliche Publikation

zu veröffentlichen oder auf einem wissenschaftlichen Kongress vorzustellen. Jeder, der an einer Mitarbeit innerhalb
