TOURISM – 2013. REPUBLIC OF CROATIA SPLIT COUNTY
In 2013, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of tourist arrivals in all commercial accommodation facili-ties in the Republic of Croatia in-creased by 5.0% and the number of tourist nights by 3.3%.
Tourists realised 64 440 708 tourist nights: 7.7% by domestic and 92.3% by foreign tourists.
The number of domestic tourist nights decreased by 1.8%, while the number of foreign tourist nights increased by 3.7%, as compared to the same period of 2012.
Concerning the structure of foreign tourist nights, the most of them (73.0%) were realised by tourists from Germany (24.2%), Slo-venia (10.3%), Austria (8.7%), the Czech Republic (7.6%), Italy (7.3%), Poland (6.9%), the Netherlands (4.2%) and Slovakia (3.8%).
Tourists from other countries realised 27.0% of tourist nights.

In the same period the number of the tourist arrivals in all commercial accommodation facilities in the Split County increased by 10% and the number of tourist nights by 9%.
Tourists realised 12 022 633 tourist nights: 7.0% by domestic and 93,0% by foreign tourists.
In the period from January to November 2013, the number of domestic tourist nights decreased by 4,0%, while the number of foreign tourist nights increased by 10,0%, as compared to the same period of 2012.
Concerning the structure of foreign tourist nights, the most of them (72,8%) were realised by tourists from Czech Republic (15,9%), Poland (11,7%), Germany (11.7%), Slovakia (7.4%), Slovenia (4,9%), Bosnia and Hercegovina (4,8%), Austria (3,8%) and Italy (3.1%).
Tourists from other countries realised 27.2% of tourist nights.

In 2013, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of tourist arri-vals from Finland in all commercial accommodation facilities in the Split County in-creased by 11% and the number of tourist nights by 9%. Actual rates of Finnish tourists participate in a total of overnight stays in Split County is 0,7%. The number of tourist arrivals from Norway in all commercial accommodation facilities in the Split County increased by 17% and the number of tourist nights by 18%.
The number of tourist arrivals from Sweden in all commercial accommodation facilities in the Split County increased by 42% and the number of tourist nights by 38%.

Since 1983 The Adriatic Croatia International Club (ACI) is a Croatian company that operates 21 yacht marinas along the picturesque Croatian coast and islands. Today, it is impossible to speak about nautical tourism along the Adriatic coast without mentioning the ACI.
The chain of 21 ACI marinas, with its ideal geographic positioning from Umag in the north, to Dubrovnik in the south, attract boat-ers by offering them a safe berth, and modern and impeccable high-quality services. Noa 2014 base updates
In this year as every year we improved several yachts with new sails, new upholstery and lot of smaller improvements. All Noa Yacht are having Bimini, sprayhood, inverter, cockpit cushions and coffee machine.
There are many possibilities of renting water-fun toys in base. Also all customers can have Wi_Fi on board, to order food in advance, to have private taxi transfer from airport to base, or to have guided tour in Split or at nearby historical sites organized by local tourist agency.

We have 500 active agents registered at our central booking system. We can say that we are working with 200- 250 of agencies on monthly basis. Biggest individual agents are coming from German and UK market.
At the moment we are not having big or medium size Finish agency that would book boats for Finish market, and most-ly we have direct customers from Finland, or coming trough online Internet agencies (Croatian ones).
