DELMAR HOLDING nasce nel 2003 come Holding di par-tecipazioni attiva nel settore delle energie rinnovabili quali l’energia eolica e gli impianti fotovoltaici.

Dal 2017 DELMAR HOLDING ha predisposto un piano in-dustriale per attivarsi nel settore del Food-tech grazie alla costituzione di tre società che si occuperanno di un vasto progetto integrato di Coltura Idroponica.

Sotto la guida di Vito Marrosu, suo Amministratore Delega-to, il Gruppo opera secondo principi di eticità ed attenzio-ne al concetto di sviluppo sostenibile, ma sempre orientato verso traguardi e risultati in linea con le aspettative degli investitori e degli Stake-holders.

DELMAR HOLDING was founded in 2003 as a Holding Company of investments in the renewable energy sector such as wind power and photovoltaic plants.

Since 2017, DELMAR HOLDING has set up a business plan to become active in the Food-tech sector, thanks to the es-tablishment of three companies that will take care of a vast integrated Hydroponics project.

Under the leadership of Vito Marrosu, its CEO, the Group operates according to principles of ethics and attention to the concept of sustainable development, but always orient-ed towards goals and results in line with the expectations of investors and stakeholders.

Taking advantage of its extensive experience in the re-newable energy sector, in 2017 DELMAR HOLDING started to invest in the Innovative Agritech field, as a natural evolu-tion of the company’s cornerstones and in particular:

n Protection of natural resources

nRespect for the environment

The project concerns the production of vegetables, of differ-ent types, grown in protected and hydroponic areas.

Through these technologies, treatments with plant pro-tection products and herbicides usually used for open field crops are reduced to a minimum, bringing the residue well below the limits set by national and international health leg-islation.

The close collaboration with institutional research bodies such as universities and the CNR, has allowed DELMAR HOLDING to develop advanced water treatment technolo-gies, the basic element for the production of healthy food.

Thanks to an agricultural joint investment agreement (a more complete form of collaboration than a joint-venture or partnership), entered into with the most important and qualified producer of hydroponic tomatoes in Italy, we will focus on this type of vegetables in the period 2019-2023.

Sfruttando l’esperienza pluriennale nel settore delle energie rinnovabili, nel 2017 DELMAR HOLDING ha iniziato ad investire nell’ambito dell’Agritech Innovativo, quale natu-rale evoluzione dei capisaldi aziendali ed in particolare:

Si tratta di un progetto di produzione di ortaggi, di diverse tipologie, coltivati in ambiti protetti ed idroponici.

Attraverso queste tecnologie, vengono ridotti al minimo i trattamenti con fitofarmaci e diserbanti di solito utilizzati per le coltivazioni in campo aperto, riportando il residuo ben al di sotto dei limiti previsti dalle normative sanitarie nazionali e internazionali.

La stretta collaborazione con enti istituzionali di ricerca come le università ed il CNR, ha consentito a DELMAR HOLDING di mettere a punto tecnologie avanzate di trattamento dell’ac-qua, elemento alla base della produzione di cibo salubre.

Grazie a un contratto di compartecipazione agraria (forma di collaborazione più completa della joint-venture o della partnership), stipulato con il più importante e qualificato produttore di pomodori idroponici in Italia, punteremo nel periodo 2019-2023 su questa tipologia di ortaggi.

What are they?

By hydroponic growing (or hydroculture) is meant one of the growing techniques without the use of soil: the soil is, in fact, replaced by an inert substrate (expanded clay, perlite, vermiculite, coconut fiber, rock wool, zeolite, etc.) and the plant is irrigated with a nutritive solution consisting of water and inorganic compounds essential for normal mineral nutrition.

In a hydroponic greenhouse, therefore, plants do not grow in the ground but in special containers inside which water mixed with nutrients flows.

What advantages does it provide?

Hydroponic growing has obvious advantages in adverse environmental conditions, i.e. when the soil is not able to grow the crop in an optimal way, such as dry, rocky or excessively sandy soils.

Cosa sono?

Per coltivazione idroponica (o idrocoltura) s’intende una delle tecniche di coltivazione fuori suolo: la terra viene, in-fatti, sostituita da un substrato inerte (argilla espansa, perli-te, vermiculite, fibra di cocco, lana di roccia, zeolite, etc.) e la pianta viene irrigata con una soluzione nutritiva costituita da acqua e composti inorganici indispensabili alla normale nutrizione minerale.

In una serra idroponica, quindi, le piante non crescono in terra ma in appositi contenitori all’interno dei quali scorre acqua mescolata ai nutrienti.

Quali i vantaggi offre?

La coltivazione idroponica presenta evidenti vantaggi laddo-ve le condizioni ambientali risultano avverse, ossia quando il terreno non è in condizione di far crescere la coltura in modo ottimale, come ad esempio terreni aridi, rocciosi o ec-cessivamente sabbiosi.

Hydroponic greenhouses offer numerous advantages:

n Lower use of water compared to growing in soil (re-duction of up to 90% compared to open field)

n Almost total absence of herbicides and minimisation of use of pesticides

n High product quality (in terms of uniformity of size, colour and organoleptic characteristics)

n High production levels thanks to the greater number of plants that can be grown per surface unit (with yields from 2 to 4 times greater than in open field growing!)

n Continuous growing the whole year round

Le sere idroponiche offrono numerosi vantaggi:

n Minor utilizzo di acqua rispetto alla coltivazione in terra (riduzione fino a al 90% rispetto al pieno campo)

n Pressoché totale assenza di diserbanti e riduzione al minimo di utilizzo di antiparassitari

n Elevata qualità dei prodotti (per uniformità di di-mensione, di colore e di caratteristiche organolettiche)

n Elevati livelli produttivi grazie al maggior numero di piante coltivabili per unità di superficie (con rese da 2 a 4 volte maggiori rispetto alla coltivazione in pieno campo!)

n Coltivazione continua durante tutto l’anno

Sarà la società che si occuperà della costruzione degli im-pianti, in Italia ed all’estero in Partnership con le più qualifi-cate Aziende, già individuate, per conto della Società Agri-cola Cibo Sano Italiano, e non solo.

I.F.T Srl – International Food Trading Srl

Costituita per portare quanto coltivato e prodotto in Italia oltre confine, allo scopo di valorizzare ed utilizzare la leva, ancora validissima, del “Made in Italy” nel mondo.

Ci poniamo così come i primi operatori in grado di presen-tarsi al tempo stesso come costruttori di serre - le più in-novative esistenti al momento - formatori del personale direttivo e di produzione in loco, nonché gestori dei cicli colturali a livello di programmazione e di problem solving.

Garantiamo così continuità e stabilità nei progetti d’imple-mentazione evitando al nostro partner di trovarsi con im-pianti di altissimo livello, ma senza l’imprescindibile capacità gestionale.

To implement the business plan, in March 2018 DELMAR HOLDING founded three companies - all 100% controlled by the Group - each of them with specific and complementary activities.

Will have the role, as a Farm, to manage the hydroponic greenhouses in association with the farmer Partner.

Greenhouses Contractor Srl

Will be the company that will take care of the construction of the plants, in Italy and abroad, in partnership with the most qualified companies, already identified, on behalf of Società Agricola Cibo Sano Italiano and others.

I.F.T Srl – International Food Trading Srl

Founded to market what is grown and produced in Italy across the border, in order to exploit and use the still very valid lever of “Made in Italy” worldwide.

We thus position ourselves as the first operators able to simultaneously present themselves as builders of greenhouses - the most innovative currently in existence - trainers of managerial and production staff in situ, as well as crop cycle managers at both the planning and problem solving level.

In this way, we guarantee continuity and stability in imple-mentation projects, avoiding our partners finding them-selves with very advanced plants, but without the essential management capability.

In the wake of the interest shown both by the capital market as well as the national and international production chain, DELMAR HOLDING has developed the following busi-ness plan.

nBy 2021/2022: Construction of 120,000 square metres of hydroponic greenhouses in Arab countries and in East-ern Europe, commissioned by Governmental and/or Pri-vate and Institutional Bodies.
