COMMUNITY UPDATES / UPCOMING EVENTS
On March 21, we’re making plans to see the GOD'S NOT DEAD
movie at Grand Central Mall Cinema. What would you do if in your
first biology class in college a professor told you to write "God is
dead". Come watch the Christian film that tells that story...it's a story
that is very true for many that go to state schools. We will take our
van at 6:20PM from the church to go over to the mall. Cost is $10
and you need to sign up and pay by March 16th. We currently only
have 20 tickets reserved. Parents and adults are welcome to attend.
March 29th Family Fun & Games Night at 7:00 p.m. at the Belpre
Church MPR. Join us for a night of games and fellowship. Bring your
favorite board or card game and a snack to share. Drinks will be
provided. This event is for all ages! Feel free to invite your friends
and neighbors!
Work Camp will sponsor a Trivia/Dessert Night, plus a silent auction
on Friday April 4 at 7 pm at the Grand Central Church of Christ. All
proceeds will benefit this year’s Work Camp. Cost is $10/person
and we need 6 to 8 people on a team. Please put some teams to-
gether and help support Work Camp.
TEACHER RECOGNITION BANQUET
Belpre Church Bible teachers are asked to save the date of
Sat., Apr. 5 for the Teacher Recognition Banquet, which will take
place in the MPR at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided and One
Accord will be entertaining. All present and past teachers and their
families are invited.
We are excited to announce that LIFETOUCH FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY
will be taking pictures of our church family for a new pictorial
directory on April 15-19. All participating families will receive a free
8 X 10 portrait and a complimentary church directory. By booking
our sessions in April, we have secured a 20% discount for any
pictures you may want to purchase for your family. Portrait sessions
may be scheduled in three ways. First, you may go to our website,
click on Lifetouch Directory and then on the link provided. Choose a
day and time, fill out the information and you are scheduled.
Scheduling on-line will give your family another $10.00 discount on
pictures purchased. Secondly, beginning today, and through Sun.,
Apr. 13, you may schedule your portrait sitting by visiting a table in
the office foyer, where someone will be there to help you between
classes and worship, and again after the end of services. A third.
Finally, you may call the office and Tonnie will assist you in
scheduling your session. Another $5.00 discount will be given to
your family if you are willing to fill a “Feed the Need” bag with
non-perishable food and bring to your photography session. “Feed
the Need” bags will go home closer to our scheduled photography
week along with other information.
Willie Franklin will be in a Spring Gospel Meeting at the
Little Hocking Church of Christ on Apr. 27 - May 1. We are invited to
join them as Willie speaks on “Do You Know My Jesus?” Other
details are on the office bulletin board.

MINISTRIES
PRAYER MINISTRY
Everyone is invited to the Applied Prayer Class in room 102-103
on Wed. evenings at 7:00 p.m. This class focuses on the
application of prayer, with an emphasis on praying for spiritual
rather than physical needs.
COURAGE TO CHANGE
You may feel at times that you have stopped growing spiritually.
These times should not wither your trust in God. Rather they
should nourish your hopeful expectancy in the hearty fruitfulness
to come. Don’t be discouraged. The fresh sunrise will reveal
God’s insight and provision for your problems. As he illuminates
your situation, you’ll see that what brought you despair was
really an opportunity to rely on God and not on self.
LOVE IN ACTION
Our week to staff BAM's store is March 24th-28th. This outlet
store is such a blessing to those in need in our community. If you
can volunteer even a few hours, please see Anita or Lori
Kirk. David Platt reminds us, "When we find ourselves annoyed,
bitter, or even angry with unbelievers, let the mercy shown to you
overflow in compassion. Remember that you too were in
rebellion toward God, blind to the truth and beauty of the gospel
of Christ. Reflect on God’s grace in your OWN salvation, and fight
pride with amazement!" That amazement should fuel our desire
to reach out to all!
JAMAICA
The Jamaica Mission Team will be going to Barnes Pen, in
St. Catherine Parish this summer, July 3-12, 2014. Anyone
interested in joining the team is asked to see Mary Ann Thorn.

flowers. Every gesture was appreciated. We couldn’t have made it without our
church family. We love you all! ~Ron and Terry Everson
Thank you everyone for the prayers and support. Our church family certainly
has carried us throughout this. We are NEAR the end of this two year
journey!!! PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS.

family. We love you all ~ Mary Ann and Jack Thorn, and family

Going for Glory at ___________

And he said, “I will make all my goodness
pass before you and will proclaim before
you my name ‘The LORD.’ And I will be gra-
cious to whom I will be gracious, and will
show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
But,” he said, “you cannot see my face,
for man shall not see me and live.” And
the LORD said, “Behold, there is a place by
me where you shall stand on the rock, and
while my glory passes by I will put you in
a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you
with my hand until I have passed by. Then
I will take away my hand, and you shall
see my back, but my face shall not be
seen.”
