It was located where the door could be closed on distractions and interruptions. Such a place was often a small room built on a flat roof, and people went there to draw close to God. You have such a place wherever you can go to be with God in a way you are unable to do anywhere else. You know your time there with just you and God will be rich and fruitful. This week a BIG thank you goes out to Linny Murphy, Becky Burwell, Carrie Love, Darien and Judy Lorentz and Marvin Sams for all their help the past few weeks. The pantry has been blessed recently with the delivery of food from Walmart and we were able to share some of our food with the food pantry that was robbed in Marietta last week. They were very appreciative and it is great when we can help out another pantry that is serving our community. We are quickly running out of room in the pantry which is making it difficult for more than a few people to work in the room at a time. We are in the process of trying to remedy this. Ron reminded us Sunday of how gracious our God is. Are we living our lives Victoriously?? Do we truly understand the awesome blessing of being heirs of God?? If so, why are we not sharing our "victory" more with those we love and meet on a daily basis?? What a wonderful gift of grace we could give so many. Our "Love in Action" can help others live victoriously also! There is no better gift!
