A READABLE FEAST: A COOKBOOK BOOK GROUP

Participants bring a dish to share from
that month’s cookbook. There is a dis-
cussion about the book while we sam-
ple all the dishes. This month we’ll be
reading and cooking from Dorie Green-
span’s cookbooks: Around My French
Table, Baking: From My Home to Yours, and Everyday Dorie.

Rod’s musical versatility and vast

Join us as Dr. Frank Heppner speaks about
his latest book, The Seventy Year Train
Ride. The son of a doctor for the South Pacif-
ic Railroad, Frank Heppner by age 10 had
accumulated 10,000 miles on trains, and
subsequently rode them in 28 countries.
His book is a lighthearted memoir of his
global adventures (and misadventures) on trains around
