If your child enjoys drawing and coloring, register today for our art class for beginners. We will introduce children to the basics of drawing using pencils, markers, crayons and color sticks. The class is geared toward pre-school – first grade, however, all ages are welcome.

*DURHAM COUNTY LIBRARY PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB (6-12) Saturdays, Sep. 20; Oct. 18; Nov. 153:30 - 4:30 p.m.Do you have an interest in learning photography using digital cameras? If so, join the Durham County Library Photography Club. Spaces are limited (10 spaces per quarter). Each child will be given a camera to take pictures of something or someone that best represents the spirit of the season. A picture of each child will be processed (using in-house photo processing equipment), framed and hung in the library for display. HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH (All Ages)Saturday, Oct. 43:30 - 4:30 p.m. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (Sep. 15 – Oct. 15) by helping to create a Hispanic Heritage Mural. Join us as we celebrate the many contributions of Mexicans and Latin Americans. The mural will be displayed within the Main Library’s Children’s Unit during Hispanic Heritage Month.
