*TUTORING WORKSHOPFriday, Sep. 44 - 5:30 p.m.If you are a teen tutor, please attend this mandatory tutoring workshop. Meet the other teen tutors, and learn the skills necessary to become a great tutor. Snacks will be provided.

Any teen in grades 6-12 can join. Sep 18: Back-to-School Party: Come to the first TAG meeting of the school year to celebrate, meet other members and play games; Oct. 16: Halloween Happenings: Bring your ideas to make this year’s Haunted House the scariest ever!; Oct. 29: The Haunted House!: If you’re looking for a good scream, come volunteer at the library’s haunted house. TEEN LGBT BOOK CLUBMondays, Sep. 21; Oct. 19; Nov. 166 - 8 p.m.This book club is a safe place where LGBT teens and their supporters can read novels that feature LGBT characters, and meet other teens with the same interests. The book club meets on the third Monday of every month. Snacks will be provided. Check the website for our current selections!

GAME DAYMondays, Sep. 28; Oct. 26; Nov. 303:30 - 4:30 p.m.Get your game face on – at the library! Join us for multiplayer Xbox or Wii U games, or play classic board games. Snacks will be provided!

*TEEN CREATIVE WRITING CLUBMondays, Oct. 5; Nov. 24:30 - 5:30 p.m.Join other teen writers on the first Monday of every month to stretch your imagination with exercises to help you through the creative writing process. We’ll use prompts and other techniques to get our creativity going. Feel free to bring any of your writing with you. This club of creative writers is for anyone in grades 6-12, all skill levels. Snacks will be provided. At the end of the school year, we will collect all of our writing we did throughout the year and publish a literary magazine!

GARDEN CLUB Tuesdays, Sep. 1; Oct. 6; Nov. 35 - 6 p.m.Come and learn about all types of plants as we tend our own library garden with Master Gardener Ms. Melissa.

Stop by the library to see the importance of open information to everyone, and take a look at books that have been banned throughout history. Take home one of the historically banned books, and decide for yourself whether or not it is worthy of your reading time.

*EVERYTHING PUMPKIN! Tuesday, Oct. 275 - 6 p.m.Join us for a fall celebration of Everything Pumpkin! Games, crafts and activities all centered around this lovely fruit... did you know it was a fruit?!

MOVIE NIGHT CELEBRATION: THE HUNGER GAMES MOCKINGJAY PART 2Tuesday, Nov. 175 - 8 p.m.It’s here! The final chapter of this well-loved book turned movie series releases this Friday in theaters! Are you ready? Join us to watch Mockingjay Part 1 in anticipation of Friday, combined with some Katniss-style crafts and snacks.
