The product programme has never been stronger. You will find complementing products for banknote counting, sorting and detection over a wide price range and for a variety of applications. Take a look at the new Evision 4D, a fast and easy-to-use euro detector in the well-known BellCon design and quality. In recent years, the quality of counterfeit banknotes has improved substantially parallel to the availability of sophisticated electronic equipment, and today the naked eye is definitely not enough to reveal counterfeits. In the same period of time, the market for banknote detection equipment has become much more unclear, with many manufacturers producing even more different brands of detectors. The market situation is also changing rapidly these days, but we feel confident that our strong, quality product portfolio can fulfil all market needs. BellCon's three most important objectives are:

Company Profile In 2008 BellCon ApS marketed the Evision 4D. The Evision 4D is specially designed to fulfil all modern retail shops' need of convenient and fast verification of euro banknotes. Evision 4D comes in the appreciated, characteristic BellCon design. BellCon ApS wants to fulfil every customer need in the banknote detection and cash handling segment, and Evision 4D is the newest star of the continuous, innovative history of BellCon ApS's products. Since 1992 BellCon ApS has developed, manufactured and sold various banknote detectors and cash handling equipment with great success. The BellCon ApS product program also consists of high quality Danish manufactured conventional UV and white light detectors. Furthermore, BellCon ApS also imports low cost Chinese conventional UV and white light detectors. In 1994 BellCon ApS began to develop a new detector specially designed for detection of US dollar banknotes. By using new technology, this was the first desktop detector in the world, able to detect the very best professionally made counterfeits; the so-called "Super dollar". Throughout the years, the SuperVision detectors have been continuously improved with new technologies and extended with several additional currencies. With its advanced and future oriented detection technology, SuperVision mc is the new generation of SuperVision detectors. It has been developed in close cooperation with cashier personnel from several financial institutions and is customized and designed to fulfil all needs. In 2001/2002 BellCon ApS developed Evision. It was introduced to the world market in the beginning of 2002. Evision is specially designed for verification of euro banknotes. Evision has been developed through consultations with specialists and with strong support from the European Central Bank. In 2003 BellCon ApS decided to complement the banknote detector products with banknote counting and sorting equipment. From the beginning, our priority has been to market only high-quality products with state-of-the-art features. Additionally, in 2007, BellCon ApS started marketing automatic, high-quality banknote detector products with counting features to further extend the product portfolio.

Core Competencies

Banknote detection technology In our long history of banknote detection equipment, we have invented and developed cutting-edge methods to detect the security features in banknotes. As the counterfeit banknotes get better and better, it is necessary to constantly develop the detection technology.

Access to comprehensive currency collections (genuine and counterfeit) Testing the detection technology is essential to manufacturing and selling reliable banknote detection equipment. We have access to large banks' currency reserves in Denmark and in other countries due to our long-term relations with the financial institutions.

Technical training of distributors and service personnel On several occasions we have held seminars to train our distributors in new equipment. It is routine to train our distributors' service personnel when new equipment is launched. We can conduct training in Denmark or we can visit our partners around the world.

Service and support BellCon ApS is known for a quick and competent service and support of our products. If possible, we will solve the problem by e-mail or telephone. However, we are ready to visit our customers if problems occur. New types of counterfeit banknotes will always emerge. We are very quick to adapt our products' detection software when required. Software can be downloaded directly from our website.

Market knowledge Whenever people meet to do business, it is important to have a common platform, based on mutual understanding and respect. The nature of this platform depends on different issues, where culture, history and tradition are key elements. BellCon ApS is a European based company, but we have more than 17 years of experience dealing with distributors and suppliers from all over the world.


Relations to Money Issuing Authorities In business, good relationships are essential. In our kind of business this can be difficult, as the security of banknotes is well protected. Thanks to the long history of BellCon ApS, we are today well known in the two biggest money institutions worldwide, The European Central Bank, ECB and the system working with the US dollar, The Federal Reserve System, BEP and the US Secret Service. BellCon ApS participated in the first European Regional meeting in the Central Bank Cash Machine Group (CBCMG) back in early 2005. This first meeting was considered a success by everybody, and the participants were invited to bilateral meetings with the ECB, in order to discuss different issues on detection technology used by the Bank Equipment Manufacturers (BEM). ECB presented the ES2 Print Pack One (PPO) on a seminar in March 2007, where BellCon ApS also participated, and had the opportunity to bring home the PPO for closer examination. In June 2008 we took part in the second seminar about the ES2 held by ECB in Frankfurt am Main. Back in 2005 BellCon ApS also participated in the North American Regional meeting in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2007 BellCon ApS participated in the third CBCMG meeting held in London. In 2006 we visited the Currency Technology Office in Richmond, Virginia. On this occasion we had the opportunity to analyze more than 2.000 counterfeit USD banknotes. In August 2008 we were invited to the 2008 Vendor Forum about "Currency Quality" in Dallas, Texas. Latest visit to the Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Fort Worth, Texas was in May 2007, where the design of the new 5$ and 100$ NexGen banknotes were first made available to us. In April 2009 we are going to participate in the next 100$ NexGen conference. In the summer of 2006, BellCon ApS was invited to the Interpol headquarters in Lyon, France, to participate in a one day seminar, given by the US Secret Service on the subject "Super dollars"

MD 84, 118 and 628 is a series of low cost conventional UV and white light detectors

MD 118 is a portable, battery-powered UV and white light detector using a

UVA tube and a white lamp

MD84 is equipped with two UVA tubes. MD628 is in addition equipped with a white light lamp underneath the banknote

Ultraviolet light and white light can be used to detect various fluorescence

and other banknote security features like watermarks and security threads etc.

Please note: Detection accuracy using UV lamps depends on the subjective
