Visiting in Poland~ by Mark Christian

I was very blessed to take six ministry students from Great Lakes ChristianCollege to visit the country, encourage the local churches, and to be blessed bymeeting so many believers from another country. The trip to Poland was a life-altering experience for each of us. It was an incredible blessing to be so graciously received, shown generous hospitality, and to see the strength of theindividual congregations. I have said many times since I returned in late February, "The churches in Poland don't need the American church to teach themhow to be the church, what they need is our encouragement and support."

The real joy for me was to be able to share with my home congregation inMt. Pleasant, Michigan that God Is moving in these Ministers, these families, and this nation.

We can be a

blessing to themin what God is leading them to do. Iwitnessedmen with real vision for leadership. I sawpeople committed to doing the hard work ofministry and enjoying it. Itwas a real blessingto see that our participation in Polish Christian Ministries is an investment where God is

already working and changing lives.

News from LidzbarkWelskiKrzysztof Lesnick reports baptizing three

persons in the river near Lidzbark. Krzysztofreports that one girl's father told her "to be baptized like Jesus was in the river." His behavior

was surprising to us because at the beginninghe was very much against the church.

This is a mission station planted three yearsago by the Ciechanow church.

Bedzin-Laziska (near Dabrowa Gornicza).A year ago Piotr wrote: "We rejoice that we

are not building our faith on some shifting sandsbut on the eternal Rock, our Lord Jesus Christ."

Our prayersare with his
