Importance of Non-Verbal Communication

This in fact demonstrates exactly how body language, gestures, postures, facial expression, eye contact, tone of voice and positioning among groups have their forms of expressing certain feelings.

Non-Verbal communication has a strong impact and importance on showing what a person wants to say in spite of what words say.

How text and speech contains Non-Verbal Codes

Speech contains non-verbal elements known as paralanguage which include voice quality, tone, rate, volume and the way one speaks, as well as prosodic features such as the rhythm, stress over a word or sentence and intonation.
