LC History and Reality AIESEC in SOC was formed on December 25 2013 by the

initiative of AIESEC in EiABC to expand to Addis Ababa

School of Commerce. Since then, even though the LC had

several raises; the LC has never had any kind of realizations

regarding exchanges. Since the LC is at a such a young

stage, it has room to grow and do great things. It will all

depend on the leaders of the entity!

Role description of LCP : The LCP is the local representative of AIESEC local committee directly reporting to the Member Committee in Ethiopia, managing and co-coordinating all areas concerning the local organization. The LCP will lead the LC and management team in the development and implementation of local plans and ensure the sustainability of local operations. LCPs are the main responsible and drivers for all the strategies and activities in AIESEC at the local level and form part of the final decision making body of an AIESEC country that manages the organization (National legislative meetings).

Role description of LC VP MAC The LC VP Marketing and Communications is the Responsible for Ensuring the effective management of communication and information dissemination in and out of the Local Committee .She/he is responsible to maintain the health and stability of communication and Information of the local committee. He/she works closely with relevant function(s) to co-deliver national and local events and programs to ensure brand alignment. He/she also ensures effective, branded marketing communications including the company website, print communication, and advertising.

Role description of LC VP OGX:

The LC VP OGX is the final responsible of execution of all oGCDP and oGIP products and processes in the LC. This person will create the strategies and plans for oGCDP and oGIP goals. VP OGX is responsible for ensuring full member education cycle of his/her members along with personal development through their AIESEC experience. The VP is responsible for coaching of the team leaders and team members of his function. He or she ensures quality of delivery for all EPs before and during their internship.

Role description of LC VP BD & IGCDP:

The LC VP iGCDP is the final responsible for all PBoXes (Projects Based on Exchange) developed in the LC. Through the activities for members in the exchange stage (EPs and interns), he/she ensures an increasing number of high quality exchanges and an increased volume of issue based experiences. He/she is also the final responsible for developing his/her team’s business intelligence skills to research the market, enhance product designs and segment the market so that it is easier to create product packages to sell exchange pro-grams to stake holders. He/she creates mutual partnerships with other organizations and companies for financial sustainability of the LC.

Role description of LC VP TM : The LC VP TM is the Responsible for the management of the people development process in the Local Commit -tee. Ensure the health of the People subsystem so that all members are able to participate and develop to their full capacity within the Local Committee. Ensure the successful quality delivery experiences of the stages of the AIESEC Experience. He/she is the final responsible for the talent capacity of the LC to equip the members of the committee with necessary knowledge in the different portfolios to mainly drive exchange. He or she is also responsible of co-creating and implementing initiatives and tools to enhance the performance, development and

engagement in the LC.

Knowledge Required: - A thorough understanding of AIESEC TM areas. - Understanding of how the HR of th committee can support the other portfolios - Experience in management and co-ordination of teams. - Broad understanding of students around the city ,their major disciplines and how they can function within the system - EXPA knowledge -LDM

Complete answers of the application questionnaire (PDF Format) , no more than 20 pages, Font min size 11 [Each Applicant is supposed to answer the General Questionnaire but The specific question goes to specific portfolios. So answer the Specific Questions found in the portfolio you are applying for. For example: LCP specific Questions is supposed to be answered by LCP applicants only, and LC VP TM specific Questions is supposed to be answered by LC VP TM applicants only and so on] 3.An essay describing yourself (one page). 4.FOR LCP APPLICANT Three Endorsement Letters one from an MC, one from a parent and one from an LC member. 5.FOR LCVP APPLICANT One endorsement letter from a parent.
